Just say sorry on 13:46 - Aug 14 with 5567 views | Jackfath | Well done on them for keeping the fans in the loop with information.

Just say sorry on 13:48 - Aug 14 with 5550 views | Pegojack | Verbal diarrhea or what? "Once again we've fecked up, but we're trying to sort it out" would have been sufficient.
Just say sorry on 13:48 - Aug 14 with 5538 views | AndyNak | I really don't see anything wrong with that? They've explained the problems and addressed them in time for the next game?
| |
Just say sorry on 13:49 - Aug 14 with 5528 views | AndyNak | I would imagine Ticketmaster would have written/signed off on that statement

Just say sorry on 13:51 - Aug 14 with 5505 views | Uxbridge | Why? We're the customer.

Just say sorry on 13:56 - Aug 14 with 5455 views | ApeShit | Lol that was a bit long winded
Just say sorry on 13:58 - Aug 14 with 5432 views | Watchman | Maybe be it should say We know the tickets were over priced We know that tickets prices will remain exhorbitant in the months ahead We know that TicketMaster are scamming on ticket fees despite all that top dollar prices! we still managed to get it fughing wrong The Club should stand up and say it not try some half arsed apology trying not to offend commercial parties. WE ARE THE CUSTOMER! TOP DOLLAR TOP SERVICE!

Just say sorry on 14:02 - Aug 14 with 5385 views | bermudajack | Is that supposed to be an apology on behalf of the club to those who missed the first 10 mins of the game??? More like an elevation of blame that the new ticket management system installers failed miserably in checking that the system was fail proof, there wasn't enough turn styles open in the first instance and this new system (which cost loads of money to install) was not ready to deal with influx of fans that it was designed to deal with... But it's okay, they're working on it... And through this letter, they're communicating with us... Pathetic

Just say sorry on 14:12 - Aug 14 with 5326 views | jackharris | The East stand entry was shambolic on Saturday. The whole stand was sold out, yet they didn't have all the turnstiles open. Health and safety was an issue because the area outside the stand is simply not wide enough. I hope they have a very good plan for when and if it is ever extended. I know there will be a pillared system but I hope they have some sort of Millennium Stadium gangway over the slope down to the river. [Post edited 14 Aug 2014 14:13]

| Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year. | Poll: | What is your favourite Knock? |

Just say sorry on 14:30 - Aug 14 with 5231 views | Flashberryjack | If you understood that explanation of what went wrong ....would it be possible for you to explain it to me please. As the only thing that I could grasp was....... The system worked well until the fans turned up, and that you can expect further delays for the next couple of games, so stop whinging and be patient [Post edited 14 Aug 2014 15:24]

Just say sorry on 14:46 - Aug 14 with 5188 views | ScoobyWho | I would genuinely hope that entry for me and my lad for the first home game isn't stalled and we miss any of the game, for that would be bothersome and bring with it a degree of confrontation.

Just say sorry on 15:08 - Aug 14 with 5081 views | DafyddHuw | Good thread title.
Just say sorry on 15:34 - Aug 14 with 4971 views | AndyNak | The combined effect of several problems: 1. technical issues relating to the printing of tickets and the turnstiles not reading the printed tickets properly 2. staff weren't fully up to speed with the new equipment 3. not enough turnstiles open Club are aware of these issues and they have been resolved before Saturday.
| |
Just say sorry on 15:38 - Aug 14 with 4950 views | Phil_S | I'm not sure the statement says they will be resolved by Saturday??# The bit that gave it away was the last paragraph “In doing so all parties would ask supporters to be patient in order that the teething problems that have been experienced can be ironed out over the course of the next few fixtures, and that supporters react positively to any communication coming from the Club with respect to ticketing and access management arrangements over the next few weeks.”
Just say sorry on 15:46 - Aug 14 with 4916 views | AndyNak | Ah yeah I misread the bit about Saturday and didn't properly read the last bit. I wasn't there for the match and so didn't get delayed myself - therefore I'm not upset as some people obviously and rightly are. The statement itself though, don't see anything wrong with it.

Just say sorry on 15:46 - Aug 14 with 4916 views | _ | Oh God exactly.... How many times did that statement go around the houses and back again. That's got leigh dineen written all over that. It was like one of his twitter rants.

Just say sorry on 15:50 - Aug 14 with 4885 views | Jackfath | I've often read people on here complaining that the website doesn't keep fans updated with information, or complaining about a lack of updates on there. Now that's sorted people are moaning about it being "long winded". Seems they cant do anything right in some fans eyes.

Just say sorry on 17:27 - Aug 14 with 4657 views | Watchman | Fath your irony is funny and brilliant but on this one the club got it wrong and have spouted bollox(officially) oddly enough some might say just before a Fans Forum! If the Board grant themselves dividend then i'm afraid to say criticism is going to be very harsh and duly justified when it is deserved! £100m business and they got it wrong
| |
Just say sorry on 17:39 - Aug 14 with 4603 views | Watchman | and that supporters react positively to any communication coming from the Club with respect to ticketing and access management arrangements over the next few weeks.” and what if they do not react positively! what sort of farking statement is that that's an underlying threat if I ever heard one
| |
Just say sorry on 17:45 - Aug 14 with 4563 views | ApeShit | I think you're reading a bit too much into that, they are just asking for patience while they sort it out.
Just say sorry on 17:53 - Aug 14 with 4533 views | monmouth | Yes, more a plea than a threat. I've written something like that in the past when we ferked up. Decoded it means: The technology should work Our user testing was sh1te Our implementation planning was sh1te We have no real confidence we can fix it quickly You are now our user testers Come early and expect delays. An explicit apology would have been nice for those affected.

Just say sorry on 18:14 - Aug 14 with 4474 views | jackonicko | I think this has cleared up the rumbling issues nicely. Clearly someone else's fault.
Just say sorry on 18:17 - Aug 14 with 4467 views | perchrockjack | its 2014, we don't have pits, we don't send kids up chimneys and we don't hang people, not even gays. I m hoping sorry will be on the lips of all the Monk trashers when it appears he wasn't too bad a selection
