Quiet beach south/west wales on 11:17 - Jul 25 with 4299 views | Jackhero | Is access an issue? there are a few down the Gower but there is a bit of a walk to them. Lovely and quiet though.
| Tubbs: Will heaven be like Swansea? Edward: Yes, Tubbs. Only... bigger. |

Quiet beach south/west wales on 11:27 - Jul 25 with 4264 views | Johnw102 | If walking is not a problem Barafundle is outstanding, park at Stackpole Quay or Broadhaven South and walk.
| Never knew getting old would happen so quick! |

Quiet beach south/west wales on 11:48 - Jul 25 with 4231 views | Jackhero | Three Cliffs is one I use, park near shepherds in Gower, or a bit further on Torbay. Park in Penmaen and walk down (approx 3 quarters of a mile) to the beach. Can be steep once you get close to the beach.
| Tubbs: Will heaven be like Swansea? Edward: Yes, Tubbs. Only... bigger. |

Quiet beach south/west wales on 13:29 - Jul 25 with 4108 views | dickythorpe | Broughton Bay near Llanmadoc in Gower, or Gwadn Beach in Solva , Pembs.
Quiet beach south/west wales on 13:44 - Jul 25 with 4091 views | yescomeon | If you are down Pembrokeshire then I would recommend Druidstone Haven, one of my favorite beaches down there. Barafundle is as good as they say, will likely be more busy though.

Quiet beach south/west wales on 13:48 - Jul 25 with 4086 views | Jackfath | Langland or Caswell should be avoided as should Blackpill. DO readers know that some people leave litter there and don't take it home with them. Fucing scrubbers.

Quiet beach south/west wales on 13:53 - Jul 25 with 4076 views | MillJack | Was about to say Fall Bay but Perch beat me to it! Absolutely stunning setting, and 10x the beach that Rhossili is despite it being repeatedly voted in the worlds best. Access isn't easy though.
Quiet beach south/west wales on 13:54 - Jul 25 with 4072 views | Jackfath | Take plenty of fluids, and sun cream.

Quiet beach south/west wales on 14:10 - Jul 25 with 4039 views | Jackfath | Especially in this weather, fat people sweat more.

Quiet beach south/west wales on 14:12 - Jul 25 with 4036 views | controversial_jack | Torbay is fantastic. It was anywhere else except the Bristol channel it would be the world's best beach
Quiet beach south/west wales on 14:16 - Jul 25 with 4027 views | perchrockjack | INDEED and they must wash in the cracks to stay fresh
| |
Quiet beach south/west wales on 14:17 - Jul 25 with 4026 views | Jackhero | Spot on. The only downside to Torbay is I end up carrying one of my sleeping children back up as they run around all day and wear themselves out
| Tubbs: Will heaven be like Swansea? Edward: Yes, Tubbs. Only... bigger. |
| |
Quiet beach south/west wales on 14:24 - Jul 25 with 4020 views | Jackfath | I've oft thought of installing a chair lift type thing in that valley, would be a great tourist attraction.
| |
Quiet beach south/west wales on 14:28 - Jul 25 with 4011 views | Jackhero | Nice idea, the downside there is it would get busy. Prefer it the way it is and I'll continue carrying the kids.
| Tubbs: Will heaven be like Swansea? Edward: Yes, Tubbs. Only... bigger. |

Quiet beach south/west wales on 14:31 - Jul 25 with 4006 views | Jackfath | My idea expands into a network of chair lifts to all beaches from a main terminal on Fairwood Common which also houses a shopping mall, mulitscreen cinemas, bowling complex, snow dome with ice skating, white water raft centre and other useful tourist pulling attractions. Expansion of Swansea Airport to follow making Gower the number one tourist attraction in the Northern Hemisphere.

Quiet beach south/west wales on 14:43 - Jul 25 with 3997 views | controversial_jack | The Gower is fantastic, but many tourists avoid the area because there's bugger all to do there
