Paddy McCourt on 14:08 - Jul 20 with 8038 views | WhiteyBFC | They should win every game then. Nardiello, Lowe, McNulty, Etuhu, Paddy. Their squad would - on paper - look good at our level.
Paddy McCourt on 14:09 - Jul 20 with 8032 views | olympicdale | to what, see if he's good enough for bury..wow how his career has fallen.
| |
Paddy McCourt on 14:42 - Jul 20 with 7891 views | 442Dale | Tutte, Adams, Etuhu, Platt, Grimes, Thompson, Widdowson, McCourt. All there at the same time? Wow, wow, WOW.

Paddy McCourt on 14:46 - Jul 20 with 7870 views | Yorkshire_Dale | Green-eyed jealous? I think not..........but they should do very well or else.
Paddy McCourt on 15:08 - Jul 20 with 7797 views | sweetcorn | Tutte, Adams, Etuhu, Platt, Grimes, Thompson, Widdowson, McCourt. Lund, Hery, Allen, Bunney, Hogan, Vincennti, Rose, Done Gosh I wonder which set of players i'd rather have.. I've tried to compare the players to which would play similar roles in each team, the only player i'd consider taking is widdowson, as i'm not sure who edges that one between him and rose.

Paddy McCourt on 16:11 - Jul 20 with 7566 views | electricblue | Burys wage bill will be horrendous...... Sounds like a do or die scenario at gigg.....
| My all time favourite Dale player Mr Lyndon Symmonds |

Paddy McCourt on 16:12 - Jul 20 with 7564 views | rochdale1987 | I'm not bothered about any of them being at bury but McCourt is an exception. I'd be gutted to see him go to Bury especially knowing how good he is and the memories I have of how he changed so many games for us, I hope hilly has enquired as I think we have room in the budget for Paddy. However Bury will probably offer him a hell of a lot, Adams is reportedly on close to 3k a week, madness. [Post edited 20 Jul 2014 16:12]

Paddy McCourt on 16:46 - Jul 20 with 7424 views | TVOS1907 | I think Flicker is rivalling you for fantasy football knowledge, Chaff.

Paddy McCourt on 17:26 - Jul 20 with 7278 views | TVOS1907 | He's waiting for Simpson to realise bury are a better bet than Derby, especially after their 6-0 FA Cup Final win.

Paddy McCourt on 17:36 - Jul 20 with 7224 views | ColDale | For all his wonderful cameos, we've seen that its possible to have such talent and put a shift in. He's a luxury player that Celtic could afford given that their title wins were decided before a ball was kicked but I don't believe any other team could carry a player like Paddy. I know he was one of the first players of his type that many of us had seen at Dale, but he's not in the same league as Ian Henderson.
Paddy McCourt on 17:41 - Jul 20 with 7195 views | SalwaDale | Spot on, we'd love him back because he is magic. Wouldn't want him in the side ahead of anyone currently likely to start though.

Paddy McCourt on 17:52 - Jul 20 with 7149 views | SaxonDale | Would be a great player to have coming off the bench every week if chasing a game. However I presume his wage demands would mean we would only get value if he were to be a key player- something I don't think he could be unfortunately.
Paddy McCourt on 18:41 - Jul 20 with 7022 views | D_Alien | You'd have to question how motivated he'd be to be playing L2 football after Celtic Park and yes, even after Oakwell. Another payday is surely all he'll be interested in, under the "arm-round-his-shoulder" management of Flicker. Might become a contest between himself and Grimes as to who can wear the most pained expression.
| |
Paddy McCourt on 18:45 - Jul 20 with 7002 views | ColDale | I do find it strange that he's there on trial. Surely Flicker knows everything there is to know about Paddy and he won't need a few days with him to make his mind up about what he can offer.
Paddy McCourt on 18:52 - Jul 20 with 6971 views | 442Dale | Yeah, if anything he knows more than any other manager having given him such a run of games last season. McCourt had never played 90 mins as regularly for years.

Paddy McCourt on 18:56 - Jul 20 with 6952 views | blackpoolcol | probably more to do with either (a) He is proving his fitness to gain a contract or (b) A contract has been agreed and will commence at a specific date (eg 1st August). Option B is very common in the lower leagues as clubs need to get the television money "solidarity payment" in which is I think due at the start of August
