Big rumours on Twitter suggest that Scotty could well be off to Coventry City.

If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor

I would have thought the longer they remain in Northampton they are a decent bet for another relegation. Championship wages still on Conference North crowds at the moment. Coupled with gathering legal bills.

Can't see why Hogan would possibly go there, and if he did you wanna make sure you get the cash up front off that lot.

Team sells striker, and next day they're linked with a lower league striker. Must be difficult being a sports journalist.

I fear this one has got legs, Hogan is the perfect replacement for Wilson.

As part of any deal we should insist on Tom Eaves (who has apparently agreed terms with Coventry) signing a contract with us!

Having already turned down Posh, I do wonder if Coventry would be considered enough of a step up for Hogan. I know they're a bigger club than Posh, but they're not exactly thriving, and they're not in the Championship.

I agree. Coventry, even in their current state, are a bigger club than us, but I would say they are below the level Hogan should be moving to.

Money talks though. If they have bid £750k, as is 'reported', then we know that will be accepted. Once again it will come down to whether or not Hogan wants to move.

Keith has got to give the nod first.

Jesus saves but Beasley scores off the rebound.

That's me.

A handful of sky blue fans saying it would be nice to sign Hogan or Winnall, neither of which they will have seen more than the odd FA Cup highlight is not to me big rumours, but each to their own.

The Grant Holt Rumour thread got to 16 pages before Forest came from left field and signed him.

Please excuse Chaff's terse reply, I expect he's just seen Man United's new shirt.

Coventry haven't a pot to pi55 in despite getting the money for Wilson. Can't see it happening.

Unfortunately, clubs without a pot to pi55 in keep spending money they don't have!

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Coventry are trying to raise money and prove they can finance a move back to the Ricoh so I genuinely can't see them paying a huge amount for a player.

Leeds and Huddersfield have both made approaches.

With Hogan Dale could do something in L1, but to cash in and go for an O'Grady style player could be good business sense.
