Points Tally 18:06 - Jun 18 with 2356 views | Huw57 | Out of our first 3 games: Man U (A) Burnley(H) WBA(H) How many points do you want? I will take 4.

Points Tally on 18:09 - Jun 18 with 1763 views | shandyjack | i think we should be looking at 6 two very winnable home games
| |
Points Tally on 18:10 - Jun 18 with 1759 views | pencoedjack | 6 from those games. I would also be disappointed not to get at least 12 points from our first 5 home fixtures ....
Points Tally on 18:13 - Jun 18 with 1752 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | Burnley and West Brom at home surely must be games we target maximum points from. We should be pushing for top 10 next season, not 17th.
| |
Points Tally on 18:26 - Jun 18 with 1720 views | cyril | 6 points without a doubt
| The devil is in the detail |

Points Tally on 19:45 - Jun 18 with 1623 views | Huw57 | What i'm saying is if we beat Burnley 2-0 and draw 0-0 with WBA would anyone think, yeah i will take that.

Points Tally on 19:50 - Jun 18 with 1611 views | NeathJack | 17th place for Swansea City in the Premier League means a successful season as the target at the start of every season is to stay in the league. Every position above 17th is just a very welcome bonus.
Points Tally on 19:54 - Jun 18 with 1601 views | Windy_Miller | Couldn't give a sh1t unless we do the double over our local rivals West Brom ;)
| |
Points Tally on 19:59 - Jun 18 with 1587 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | Well I disagree. Why bother if we're happy to make up the numbers. We should be aiming for the top 10.
| |
Points Tally on 20:01 - Jun 18 with 1581 views | NeathJack | I'm not saying we shouldn't be aiming for top 10. I'm saying regardless of where we aim for, 17th will be a successful season.
Points Tally on 20:03 - Jun 18 with 1573 views | DwightYorkeSuperstar | I wouldn't use the word successful but I understand where you are coming from. 17th wouldn't be terrible, but I wouldn't consider it a success. I'd consider it as a poor season as we are capable of much better.

Points Tally on 20:05 - Jun 18 with 1570 views | Slugster664 | We need to make the LS a fortress, away games we must target at least a point every game, if not a win! Therefore 7 points first 3 games ;-)
| |
Points Tally on 20:06 - Jun 18 with 1569 views | NeathJack | Any season a club the size of Swansea stays in the Premier League is a success. Keep your feet on the ground and don't let expectation levels run away.
Points Tally on 20:07 - Jun 18 with 1564 views | Windy_Miller | Would be nice to have 6 points from these three games but i'd settle for not being bottom of the pile and then praying for performances against the top teams like this year. The games we threw away - Stoke, Hull and West Brom. was painful. Must learn from these. Would really like to break the duck against Everton too this season.

Points Tally on 20:08 - Jun 18 with 1562 views | Darran | Got to be 8 points minimum.
| |
Points Tally on 20:34 - Jun 18 with 1519 views | SwansNZ | Minimum of 8, but hope for 10
| |
Points Tally on 20:34 - Jun 18 with 1518 views | Slugster664 | How can we get 8 points from 3 games? Are they issuing bonus points now if a side scores 4+ goals? ?? ;-)
| |
Points Tally on 20:38 - Jun 18 with 1509 views | swanduck | 6. 6urnley and WBA very winnable.
Points Tally on 20:41 - Jun 18 with 1502 views | LeonisGod | *splutter*. Over the course of a season that would be top 4 form. We folded against the lower teams under monk last year. 8 or 9 points will be a good return from those five. You never know though.
Points Tally on 20:46 - Jun 18 with 1495 views | SwansNZ | "We folded against the lower teams under monk last year." - what utter crap
| |
Points Tally on 20:54 - Jun 18 with 1478 views | Danielswan | I want to see our fit squad with signings before I make any predictions.

Points Tally on 20:59 - Jun 18 with 1460 views | pencoedjack | Unfortunately over 'the course of the season' we wont play 5 homes games in a row against Burnley, West Brom, Leicester, Sunderland & Newcastle. To me they are all winnable.
Points Tally on 21:30 - Jun 18 with 1427 views | LeonisGod | They are all winnable. Unlikely though. But I hope you're right.
Points Tally on 21:36 - Jun 18 with 1419 views | LeonisGod | We got 7 points from the last 6 home games last season. Only 1 of those was against a big team - Chelsea. Results against West Brom, Stoke, Palace were all poor and all three were relegation contenders when we played them. So where's the crap?
Points Tally on 22:02 - Jun 18 with 1389 views | SwansNZ | Last 6 home games? We played 7 home games under Monk, yet you chose to ignore the Cardiff one? We didn’t play Stoke at home, but the draw away under Monk, was better than we achieved under Rodgers and Laudrup. We beat Villa with ease, again something we failed to do under Rodgers and Laudrup. We beat Norwich with ease, yet again something we failed to do under Rodgers and Laudrup. Palace had already started to pick up points before we played them, and went on to show, they were a hard side to beat, even tho, we did play poorly in the second half, and similar v WBA — shit happens. There was nothing between Southampton and us at home, except a shit piece of defending/goalkeeping in injury time. Were those results worse than other we had earlier in the season — Stoke, West Ham, Hull? Basically, that’s why I think your statement is crap.
