I don't see how you can score the first four rounds definitively either way. Some will prefer Froch being on front foot, others Groves cleaner work.
FWIW, I had Froch up 4-3 with Groves on top in the 8th before being KTFO. The stats are very interesting ... Groves was way ahead on those counts and they're usually a reasonably accurate judge of how the cards are going. | |

Amir Khan had groves winning, but different people score different things. Groves was not throwing combos just a few one-twos here and there, his blocking was good, but the blocking style was out smarted by a soft left to the side of the head then a hard straight right. | |

the build up on Sky was quite ludicrous even more so than any soul willing to shell out £17 to add to Frcoh s pension pot.
The point about both being overated is well made.
I remember Alan Minter a decent enough British middleweight meeting Marvin Hagler. Minter before hand said he was confident.

I cant believe Groves tried to counter punch the knock out punch. Once again he was guilty of not using his head. For me Froch didn't trouble him up to that point and although he was the busier of the two he didn't land that much (as shown by the bbc stats)
