His is prone to exaggeration! Still, at least with a club our size, most who will have wanted tickets will have got them, unlike a MASSIVE club like Derby... lot of bleating going on their boards

The only thing I would have done differently would be to add a nominal loyalty points minimum to the database restriction. Say 100 points. Many touts are on 92 or more databases, but while few have many loyalty points. Any real fans short would still know someone with enough points to help them out. But without the restriction, many of the final tickets will have been cleaned up by touts.

Absolutely not. I remember calculating it, and I figured 50,000 at most. The biggest estimate I heard at the time was also 50,000. Over the years I've heard a few comments of 55,000, but no way was there any more than that.
