Chico 12:11 - May 18 with 8965 views | RogueTrooper | He's had some nightmare moments this season, but I personally would like to see him stay, he has popped up with a few goals, some of his tackles have been sublime, and I want players with passion in the team. I think he'll have learned from this season and will come back stronger. I think I may be in a minority, but if you cut out the rolling around and the occasional red mist, there is one hell of a footballer there as well as being a tidy bloke off the field. And I'm sure Garry doesn't hold a grudge either

You are the lowest form of life on Earth. You are not even human furcking beings! You are nothing but unorganized, grabastic pieces of amphibian sh1t! Because I am hard, you will not like me. But the more you hate me the more you will learn." |

Chico on 18:44 - May 18 with 1470 views | Starsky | Nathan dyer wasn't 27 either when he did what he did. This my whole point. At 27 years old, if he hasn't stopped embarrassing the club he never will. I know he likes coco pops but he's more suited to Cheetos

Chico on 18:53 - May 18 with 1456 views | Brynmill_Jack | Me too mate. We just have differing opinions on who Ash's best partner would be, I definitely favour Chico in that respect. The analogy was extreme for a reason, Dyer has been exemplary since that rush of blood to the head and I have massive admiration for him for doing so. My point is that I along with everyone else was gut wrenchingly embarrassed by his antics but he stopped that months ago. Why you and others want to keep digging that sh*t up and brining ing his disciplinary record up when one of his dismissals saved us a certain goal (although they converted a penalty for which the foul was a yard outside the box) and then for two yellows in the Chelsea game that no Chelsea player would have got in a million years. So when it comes down to making sense I don't think your prejudice against Chico's former antics or his disciplinary record make a lot of sense either. He's a damn good defender who's made team of the week quite a few times so the experts must see something in his ability too.

Chico on 19:07 - May 18 with 1427 views | Spratty | Cheetos? Going down in the box - get criticised if your don't do it - so wheres the difference It was most definitely a red card for Carroll at West Ham. Their own fans admitted that were just annoyed Chico brought attention to it. Upheld by the FA. remember Ashes repeated backpasses, own goal, remember him screaming at others for his mistakes, remember him sulking when he should be leading. Remember him going off on one at Birmingham. Chico has cost us at times. He is also excellent going forward and has much heart for our club and supporters. I also do not believe Laudrup would not have spoken to him about his antics, as he went out of his way to say how sorry particularly Chico was after the police incident.
Chico on 19:16 - May 18 with 1408 views | bermudajack | Jolian Lescott, Micah Richards, Gareth Barry, & Scott Sinclair all being released by Man City... Not bothered if we say goodbye to Chico this summer... Can't see anyone coming in for him though, Would swap him for Caulker in a heartbeat myself...

Chico on 22:42 - May 18 with 1350 views | quiff | I'm undecided about Chico to be honest, but why can't people see that Amat has the potential to be a better player than him, what is it they feel he lacks? Oh and on the ball at feet thing, although Chico's natural comfort on the ball is not something you can teach, it can certainly be coached to a fair old degree, many of the players of the Martinez era and the squad here when he came certainly didn't have it as part of their game beforehand. Chico on 17:34 - May 19 with 1284 views | Brynmill_Jack | He has stopped. Didn't you read my post fully? Just looked at the SCFC2 guest book and there's a thread on there where all but one of the posters were full of praise for him. And they don't hold silly grudges either

Chico on 18:14 - May 19 with 1229 views | C_jack | It's gamesmanship, it happens throughout every team in the PL, it's not just bloody Chico Flores. Always strange to me how many people criticise players for being over paid, yet at the same time criticise them for taking any advantage they can get to win (what they're paid for) [Post edited 19 May 2014 18:15]

Chico on 18:26 - May 19 with 1202 views | Drizzy | It's not strange at all. It's perfectly feasible to expect to do his job while accepting that him (and all other professional footballers) are grossly overpaid for it.

Chico on 18:45 - May 19 with 1181 views | C_jack | But at the same time it's hypocritical to criticise him for striving to gain every small advantage he can. I would expect someone on circa 30k a week, regardless of industry, to do everything (legally) in their power to get their job done.

Chico on 20:04 - May 19 with 1078 views | Phil_S | Can we just forget the play acting for a minute and concentrate on the simple fact that we need a better partner for Ash than Chico. The play acting is a side issue to his obvious deficiencies as a defender

Chico on 20:25 - May 19 with 1033 views | C_jack | It's down to interpretation. I'm sure there's a few referees on here that could highlight the differences between the two, but it's not illegal, it's unsporting. Taking maximum time to walk off the pitch after being substituted is not illegal, but it is unsporting.

Chico on 20:28 - May 19 with 1023 views | Phil_S | You're right but Caulker has gone backwards last two years as well and its never an easy trend to reverse??
