He was very average with Spurs last season that is why they got rid. Caulker plays better as the supporting centre half as he did with Ash. He fails when he needs to lead. | | | |

This. As long as the price was right of course. As much as I love Ash he's not getting any younger. If we got a decent price for him now and managed to get a good replacement I'd be fairly happy.
Not sure we'd get Caulker though. Weren't there rumours of Spurs going back for him?
If we could land him it would be great. He'd soon be back up to speed and he's dominant aerially, which is something we need. | |

You're not being cynical at all. His agency company managed by Moralee and Smith have a track record of being tvvats and trying to force the agenda through the media. No problem with them talking to the club privately, but the way they try to hold the club to ransom through the press makes me sick. Scum of the earth the lot of 'em.

I don't understand all the Caulker doubters.We all know how good he is and i don't buy into the Ash nurtured him hype.He's a better defender than Ash just not as experienced,scores more goals and is not as error prone.It's that basket case of a club up the road that's tarnished him.
As for Ash,well we've had an incredible loyal servant and most of us didn't think he'd be here this season so if he did decide to go then I think it would be with every Swans fans blessing.We've been pretty poor at the back this seaon so maybe it's time for a change anyway. | | | |
