One possibly for Disco.... got a bit of everything - commercial rock juggernauts, Oaky on the buttons and a driving / prog / trance undercurrent Was a big succesful crossover in its time (the Pete Tong factor)

I've just sent the list to those that pm'd me and for the rest you can find it at the below address. I'm no techie so if anybody knows how to actually save/upload the Excel spreadsheet that I've set up (sad but true!) so that it can be viewed and updated by anybody in the same format, by all means let me know...
found this in the old record collection the other day, Awesome !!!
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

And a slight fast forward to a Raindance do in '96
I'll never forget the main marquee going off to this
I see Mr Tony Colsten-Hayter wont be shaking his stuff for a few years now. With the do's that fella put on he should be living it up in a whitewashed villa in Ibiza not four square walls and 3 square meals.
Madness!

I did hear a while back TCH and his mob got lifted near me down the road in Isleworth... thought it was a bit odd hearing his name linked with high level bank fraud
I have read that book. Went through a phase of reading loads "harking back" --- a few titles spring to mind - Spanish Highs & Class of 88 (think by Darren Anthony or someone?); Your House Is Mine and the bibliography by Dave Haslam - Adventures on The Wheels of Steel and one called Up All Night I also had the misfortune to also read Raving Lunacy by Dave Courtney which I can confirm is as shit as Stop the Ride by the same geezer.."melt, melt, mugs, drugs, i decked him, it was crazy, blah, blah, blah"
For this evening I shall leave you with the cut up tones of Melissa Morgan lovely bit of dub from the tonsils that gave us the soul classic Fools Paradise (which will be played at my wedding later this year as we walk into the "breakfast" area)
Enjoy the police state and warzone that tomorrow will bring --- my first game in 7 weeks and I'll not be fit to leggit so in the words of Dave Courtney "I franted 'em, bunch o' mugz, hit the first one, massive geeza, darn he went and the other 342 just melted. It was firkin crazy. Champagne and cocaine anyone?"

Ha, i thought i might be pushing it with that one! I love it all, more so these days. I stopped the break beats when it became jungle, but for me there still were some quality tunes being made. yep,I'll be spreading the QPR love today...and trying to get my oldest lad back home to his mum in one piece.

Drum and Bass definitely had its moments. Logical Progressions or indeed most things by LTJ Bukem come to mind and Timeless by Goldie. The great man Aphex has his his own version of the genre as well.

And anyone that went to S.L.A.M. at the Soundshaft in the mid 90's should remember this monster. About 4.30 in is the point (normally around 3am) that people began to lose the last of their marbles.
