Sky are great, I had same deal last year. I pay £58pm for unlimited bb, unlimited UK landline calls and all sport and movies with multi-room

I got Sky TV with just the sports as an extra and it costs £52 a month, I got Virgin broad band and phone which was £25 but has now gone up to £38, it will have to go.

No problems at all. Also, if I need to speak to Sky about any issues it's usually sorted out within minutes. I was with BT, absolutely shocking! How they are still going as a business I never know

Agree, I can't wait for my BT contract to finish.

BT = Bl00dy Terrible. Fact :-)

We've just changed from Virgin to Sky. I don't like standard def TV on Sky, it's really poor compared to Virgin. We have loads of down time with Sky TV due to interference too - never got any of that with Virgin. BB is good though; we've found it far better than Virgin's

So Virgin TV better; Sky BB better in my experience.

Seriously considering binning Virgin TV and phone when my contract is up. Keep the broadband and go back to Freeview. I'm subscribed to Netflix and Lovefilm and like the look of Chromecast for £30. Would miss Sky Sports News, but thats about it really

Seeing as this is morphing into a pricing thread I will chip in.

I have Virgin BB and phone and Sky for TV

Was about to shift the lot over to Virgin but when the contract came through the price I was quoted on the phone was only for the first 3 months and then it sneaked up by a tenner.

After a call with VM I was about to bin them and shift the lot to Sky. They gave me 100meg BB (did that over the phone) and landline for 24 a month for 18 months. Rang Sky to cancel my cancellation and take one of the retention offers and they offered me the full package with movies and sports with 75% off for 12 months.

Very happy indeed.

Was there really any need for the "fu ck virgin media" comment.

Someone goes out of their way to get you a good deal, through no fault of anyone other than the woman that did a moonlight from your sons house, virgin cannot install at the moment, virgin cannot cancel a contract without the subscribers permission until it falls into arrears big time,

If the woman had cancelled her commitments then there wouldn't have been a problem.

Only so much you can do to help some people, shits your thanks!!
