So I've finally caught up with it, watched the finale of season 8 today...Wasn't a terrible ending, but nothing to write home about either. It all seemed to happen too quickly, but what an excellent show on the whole.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
I thought it was excellent on the whole. The ending of the final episode was a cop out but these things usually are. It's as if they've left it open for another run but it would have been better ending it with him sailing in to the storm.
Agreed great series but got gradually worse, the yanks have a terrible habit of drawing out a good series until you lose interest. Loving The Following at the moment but can see this going on for another 6 years with the same plot.
Worse by far was Prison Break it was laughable by the end.
...and whatsherface form 'The Hustle' in series one and the blonde serial killer he hooked up with in the last couple of series'. They know how to cast fit birds.
‘……. like a moth to Itchy’s flame ……’
Season 4 of Dexter is absolutely one of the best seasons you'll watch of any show. Just superb throughout. Lithgow gave me the f*cking creeps for sure.
With season 4 they definitely peaked and probably should have tied it all up by season 6 at the latest, although S7 and S8 were decent enough.
