No matter what happens - why does November always seem such a threatening month? Season after season - it always looks the worst.
Good omens:
Sheff Utd first away game - shades of 2010-11?
Sunderland away last day - makes me think of Stan and the FA Cup for some reason.
Also think we last opened up against West Brom at home exactly 40 years ago. And I do (vaguely) remember the game on the plastic. A repeat would be nice. [Post edited 26 Jun 9:16]

I read a quote once that you're going to be dead for 80 million years, so sure as hell enjoy this 80. 80M years being the breakdown period of carbon so you actually come back as an amoeba, or something? We're in the 4th Round by then too. |

Just bad optics I guess. Probably best we never knew, especially if he's going to be a (the) key figure at the club in the years to come. Maybe he should come out and just deny it (with fingers crossed behind back....).

Absolutely...disgraceful behaviour by the club. We need to be told.
Bring back the back streets and artificial pitches of Naples (with gunfire in the background by all accounts) and the PE track by the hilly Austrian green fields and river valleys says I. Tbf it all looked very picturesque. |

I'd say Burnley - becoming a real yo-yo club. Under Kompany (atm) they have the know-how and certainly the funds. Will surely be top two.
Luton - the rollercoaster adventure is surely over for now. Sheff Utd - too much in-house re-building to do.
Of the teams coming up, could Derby or Pompey do an Ipswich? Unlikely I'd say, but I could see both prospering. Bolton/Oxford - relegation fodder, I would hope. |

Yes it was.3-0 down at half-time in the grey strip which they then changed at half-time and lost 3-1. The whole country laughed. I certainly didn't. |

We had a watered-down version of this two seasons ago with the West Brom- Brentford scenario. We drew 2-2 at the Hawthorns (Eze's last game 😪) so it didn't matter. But there was discussion at the time. Then, as now, heart must always just about triumph over head. Rangers to win always. |
