| News Comment | Festive period ideal opportunity for Warnock to practise what he preaches — match preview at 23:07:51
Thanks very much Clive for this great site that you provide for QPR supporters worldwide. Your writing is always extremely well crafted, humorous and very professional. Looking ahead to the Swansea game tomorrow, which I will watch live on TV, I would dearly love to see our boy Taarabt start this game and tear their defense apart as he did in our 4-0 victory last season at Loftus Road. I do realize though that Swansea have a very good home record and have of course brought in their own new players. Really hope that this is not the occasion for Routledge to finally score his first ever Premiership goal, especially after the Wes Brown experience last game - amazing that he had not scored since 2008, then 2005 prior to that - must be a 3 year cycle! I totally agree with you that bringing on Fitz Hall was the wrong move for Warnock when we had the momentum, and more offensive options. Was almost like we were settling for a 2-2 draw. Keep up the great work Clive! |

Re: "Grant Holt - I've never seen him do anything other than role (roll) around the floor" I think the "tubby Holt" image is actually a bit of a misnomer, as from the Norwich games I've seen this season, Grant Holt has shown some great positional play, and got goals due to his strength and persistence. |
