| News Comment | Riches to rags, beauty to beast, QPR crash at Cov - Report at 11:21:39
Here a bit late in the day because of personal stuff but not to comment on a forgettable performance by the team but to commend Sir Les, Lee and Clive for defending our club against the slur by Sky. Les and Lee had summed it up well I thought and made me feel proud. But I confess to a lump in my throat reading Clive's final few paragraphs. Absolutely nailed the hypocrisy of some clubs, players and organisations. |
| News Comment | Focused QPR lose “vitally important” Blackburn game — Report at 19:07:48
Ok we did not play brilliantly and we should have defended the corner better but you expect the laws of the game to be applied correctly. The ball for the corner was way outside of the arc and the goal should not have stood. Interesting that for the first Blackburn corner of the second half the ref went across to check the ball was correctly placed. So I'm guessing someone mentioned it to him at the break. When officials are lax in the application of the laws where does it stop? Allow the keeper to hold the ball for sixty seconds? About eight yards will do for a free kick? Well done Hugill for converting a difficult chance when he has previously missed easier. Respect to the 300 Spartans! |
| News Comment | Storming second half sees QPR rescue Wigan win - Report at 18:39:45
Lost count of the number of times Manning was fouled, including horrendous tackle from behind next to corner flag. Very dangerous and warranted a red I felt but not even a free kick. Think this ref needs to do better to stay in Championship. Manning must have been black and blue next day. |

Great Result! Now to surge up the League, creep into playoffs and beat Newcastle at Wembley, avenging our humiliation at home and condemning Mike Ashley to another year of free advertising on CH5 highlights! |
| News Comment | Lacking ideas, shape, commitment or a plan, QPR lose limply at West Ham - report at 11:00:19
I know that the game and our performance was crap and there wasn't much on the pitch to cheer, but why do 'some supporters' feel the only way to motivate the team is to abuse the West Ham fans in the adjoining tier and make offensive signs at them. From where I sat at the back I could clearly see supporters who did not sit down the whole game and spent most of the match looking to their left. I felt sorry for the parents who had spent a small fortune but whose kids were surrounded by offensive language and disillusioned chanting. As for us not being mastered by Chelsea? Seriously?? Can you see this bunch of players registering anything but a humiliating defeat in a few weeks? How long ago Wembley and that Bobby Zamora moment seem. |
