No. You yourself made the comparison with Ireland mentioning their explosion in GDP over the last decade or so that was brought about by the country becoming the biggest tax haven in the world.
How else would a largely agrarian country with a small population get such a massive boost in GDP in such a short period?
He was an ambassador for the 1912 foundation years ago not sure if he’s still involved but I have seen interviews where he’s said he’s not a big football fan.
For someone who claims to be left wing he doesn’t half lean into some right and even far right ideologies. A nationalist who believes we should be a tax haven where the rich can play whilst everyone else lives off crumbs that may or not trickle down at some point. He’s a bit of a Thatcherite really.
Are you advocating for wales to become little more than a petty tax haven? Where gdp shoots through the roof but living standards drop dramatically? That we invite the huge companies here to trade tax free hoping that something might trickle down eventually?
Not a patch on the return of feathers McGraw and his attempt to steal the massive diamond by hacking into Wallace’s computer and setting the Norbots to very evil.
Just out of interest in which way is wales not equal? When you say equal I can only assume you mean in relation to England? So in your expert opinion what laws does the uk government have that means wales is not equal?
They were nationalists. As are you. Nationalism is always considered very much the domain of the right. No matter how you attempt to hide from it. You are right wing. And a lot further right than most.
A lot of these big cities it’s often considered the height of rudeness to say hello or even to make eye contact with people whilst on public transport. Last time I was in London I had to put a guy on his arse because he became very irate at me pushing and shoving me for “standing on the wrong side” of the escalator.
The primary policies of the Nazi party was to overthrow and punish perceived oppressors and reunite the Germanic peoples into a single nation where their culture and nationality can be accepted and celebrated for a thousand years.
Your long posting history suggests you support a lot of their basic principles?
They’ve got no way of knowing who voted which way though. They can do half arsed polls of a few hundred people but extrapolating that to an electorate of 40 odd million or whatever it is is just not very scientific in the slightest.
It’s not 8 years though is it? We left the EU in early 2020 then went straight into a pandemic for 2 years. Progress was being made with the Trump administration but then The Biden administration started playing silly buggers over Ireland so talks stagnated so we had to reach agreements with individual states instead.
In short no. It would be hugely embarrassing for Starmer politically to have a very public fall out with the POTUS. Every postwar leader has had cordial and positive relations with their counterparts across the Atlantic despite there often being great political differences between them.
Starmer is clearly afraid of Trump. The sending of Prince William in his place to the reopening of notre dame said it all. He doesn’t like being in a situation he can’t control.
