I think SR are undoubtedly seeing the potential of Goztepe, who are 4th in the Turkish Super Lig at present and come from Izmir the 3rd biggest city in Turkey with a population of over 4 million. SFC may be the Trojan horse that ultimately gets SR a bigger prize...... |

A 3-0 win and now this! This is the most encouraging spell we've had in the premier league since Nathan Jones won 3 games in a week! |

You misrepresent me with your second paragraph. The principles of democracy and liberalism are great - they are just in the hands of self seeking billionaires and then democracy becomes the perfect cover for oligarchy which wants to put all the money and power back in to the hands of elites, which is happening before our eyes. |

Thank you for the answers Ian. I am always amused at how much of a boogeyman Trump is to the chattering classes in the UK. Their own governments can steal their money and their culture and sometimes literally get away with murder and yet everything is Trump's fault and he hasn't even been involved in a war, it's utterly baffling! I like the idea of Trump being attracted to depots, B&Q maybe? There is plenty of left wing militancy, they are all on the same circle of power, I don't see a case for one being more authoritarian than the other and communism is way more prevalent. |

Let's enjoy what we can this season. We won easily, they played Russball and looked awful, a clean sheet. So begins the new dawn!😁 |

" The anti-woke agenda is being pushed by right wing special interest" Can you explain this comment Ian? From what I see most people just want their country back, not the socially engineered country of pronouns, drag queens reading to kids in libraries and never ending Gay pride promotion to name but a few. "People who prefer a more elitest, authoritarian agenda than a ... democratic one" Can you explain this comment too? If you believe in democracy then sometimes the people choose a right wing government, yes? Is right wing more authoritarian than left wing is like asking is fascism worse than communism isn't it? The same oligarchs behind left and right, designed to divide and conquer and keep us squabbling while they take more and more money and freedom from us. They just know now that they need to reign in the wokery pokery as people have been pushed far enough with it |

Woke is dead in the water at the moment, even Canada is going right wing which is why Turdeau is getting out, but I am sure it will get re-invented at a later date, as they do love to use the left/right paradigm to keep the people divided and the oligarchs hidden. Real politics is up/down not left/right |

I see someone has done a thesis on you being a Pompey fan. Even better one. |

Sorry City Boy, I didn't know you were expecting a thesis. If you let me have your email, I will send you everything I have on the topic. |

Very petty 901. Looking back on this thread, I see you joined in after I had posted. It's almost like you manufactured this situation to have another pop at me or would that be a conspiracy? |

For starters; 1. Creation through intelligent design is obvious. The twin theories of Macro Evolution (invented 1850s) and the Big bang (invented 1931) are laughable and the order from chaos theory has no standing scientifically. It's a busted flush and more dangerously supports eugenics and transhumanism. 2. Natural law. The universal moral code that is written on our hearts. 3. History shows all civilisations worshipped something above themselves. |

You've drawn me out 901 with your "its all the God botherers' fault - if only everyone was a rational atheist like me, we would live in a perfect world" post. On the broader issue - If there is evil in the world and we know there is, then where does that come from and how and why do we inherently know the difference between good and evil? if there is a God and the overwhelming evidence suggests there is, then would He give us free will? Yes, I think He would, otherwise we are merely pre-programmed automatons. I don't see that as an "obvious mistake". Have you read the Bible 901? As the words of Jesus here and elsewhere appear to completely contradict your assertion that the Bible is a political book all about temporal power; 19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Zionism has religious roots, both Jewish and Christian to be sure and the views of Talmudic Jews are extremely concerning, but predominantly Zionism is a political and secular global operation. Netanyahu, the Globalist puppet, who many consider to be a psychopath is a secular Jew not a religious one. Blaming religion for wars rarely stacks up. Keep looking for the real culprits 901. |

Because it goes way beyond the geographical country of Israel. When Britain decreed in the Balfour declaration to take land from one nation and give it to another, it had self interest at heart. Israeli expansionism benefits the West and Globalists generally as they seek a one world government, an area rich in resources - they will not want to leave in the hands of outlier nations like Iran. The horrendous muslim rape gang situation has been going on for decades, but it only seems expedient now politically to mention it, is this so atrocities like Gaza and Syria and a likely war with Iran can have a veneer of justification? |

They are not a great idea if they are used as a control mechanism, which they will be. |

You need to be looking at the 5D chess Ian Musk, Trump, Farage et al will hoover up a lot of the Right wing dissidents and then hit them with ID cards and Zionist wars. The Lefties they have long had in their pocket via wokery and the climate scam. |

1. Getting the sack is never going to be good, as except in extreme cases it represents failure. 2. The compensation will soften the blow doubtless, but from a professional point of view he failed spectacularly. 3. CV shows he left a club marooned at the bottom of the league, effectively relegated by Christmas and received universal criticism for not adapting his tactics. 4. Too soon to judge if results will ultimately improve, but Juric does not begin at the same starting point having inherited a squad that is probably traumatised by what has gone before. 5. The break up of his marriage and the family home can not be compensated by the ample bosom of a new interest imo. |
