I hope so. The last thing i want to see is one of these diddy south coast clubs having a day out at wembley. I can't forget how they all revel at our demise whenever they come down here, Fair enough, we deserve it. But i don't have to like it. Besides, it's good to have our wembley appearances over them. God knows we;ve got precious little else to cheer about. [Post edited 3 Mar 11:47]

Agreed. It was great support. I even watched the repeat last night instead of the utd/fulham game. Football sends me to sleep these days. Give me thursday evening Darts over the footie every time. |

Ivan Juric was there. He even got himself in the ring for a photo. Fair play to him. It must have been the first time hes seen 2 Southampton wins !! The commentators said that Garner had outgrown all town venues, so if St Marys isn't viable then maybe they could look at Guildhall square. |

Disappointing , to say the least. |

That's an understatement. 2 goals and 1 assist in 19 appearances in an inferior league. Sounds just up SRs street. |

Unfortunately you are dead right. I don't agree with it , but thats the way it is. What will be interesting is what happens in the years ahead when the Premier League move certain league games to some God forsaken country. Will the tv companies have the same concern for tv viewers in the uk, and play at a more suitable time for uk fans ? I think i know the answer to that. Whatever happened to the "It's you the fans that make football" |

I remember going to this fixture a few years back for a televised lunchtime kick off . It meant getting up at something like 3am and thinking that fixtures like this should not be allowed to happen. It's just not fair on the travelling fans. I see TNT SPORTS have got Newcastle v Boscombe live on tv saturday 12:30 kick off. I have no love for either club. but i do feel for the cherries fans that are making the trip for the privilege of watching their team play in the worst away supporting view in the premiership. Surely lunchtime fixtures should be for more local matches, or say to clubs within a 100 mile radius. |

It's not the kid. It's the greedy agent. This is the kid that we sold to Chelsea and he hated it so much he wanted to come home. |

I think i preferred their chant of "You're fooking sh*t". And why o why do commentators have to apologise every time theirs audible swearing from the crowd. It's football. FFS. [Post edited 14 Dec 2024 13:55]

It doesn't matter how bad we are, there's always poor old pompey to lift the spirits. Currently 3 down at Derby and barely 30 minutes gone. |
 | Forum Reply | Where is Charlie Taylor? at 11:22 6 Dec 2024
If thats the case then i have no sympathy for Charlie Taylor. He's a seasoned campaigner who has been around the block and ought to know that if the manager says jump, you say "How high". You don't have to be besties with the manager, but you must respect whatever instructions he gives you, irrespective if you agree or not. Otherwise you're left out in the cold, which appears to be the case. |

I'm guessing that it's because you have to be a logged on member of the board to vote, and a good amount of the 2000 viewers were casual readers. |

As long as Southampton Football Club are happy to accept the filthy lucre from betting and gaming organizations such as Sportsbetio and Rollbit as club sponsors, then i'm afraid we are in no position to criticise anybody. Now that assisted death is now to be legalised , perhaps we should ask Dignitas to be our next sponsor. |

Man Utd 11th and Aston Villa 12th. I don't think so. Both will finish far higher than that. The top and bottom looks pretty accurate though. |
