Funnily enough, the allotments are right next door to the cemetery. So not far to go at all |

Fck me - I remember when Police Cars (and Fire Engines) had bells and not sirens. (Mind you, I knew I was old last week when I reached the top of the allotment waiting list). |

This chart really puzzles me. Are they really saying that yellow piss is a bad thing? If you drink so much water that your piss is not yellow, then you will be pissing ALL THE TIME, so you will not be able to sleep, watch football, or fight off the enemies surrounding your village. Colourless piss would have prevented human evolution. |

If we go up via the playoffs, Marti will immediately be lured away up by another club. Failing that, he will be sacked part-way into the first disastrous PL season. Whichever way, it ends in tears. So no thanks, I don't wish for it. |

If these guys have officially emigrated to the US, do they realise they won't get the annual index linking (triple lock increase) on their pensions anyway? This might affect their decisions. |

That Brexit referendum thread needs re-running, doesn't it? |

Having a non-smoking area in a pub garden is like having a non-urinating area in a swimming pool. |

Stuff like that with errors can sometimes be worth more in future, to collectors. Like double-headed coins. |

What kind of hospital appointment allows you to turn up pissed, man? Just wondering. |

We shouldn't be using plastic bottles anyway. Microplastic particles are everywhere, even in our bodies. We should be collecting our draft beer from pubs in earthenware jugs, and drinking tap water, like in the good old days. |

The principle is good. Remember when beer cans had detachable ring-pulls? They used to get thrown away, and were razor-sharp if you trod on one on the beach. So the packaging industry introduced a ring-pull that stayed attached to the can - result. I'm sure lots of people complained about them at the time, though. |

It is actually the result of an EU directive. And since the bottle manufacturers sell to a worldwide market, they will not be making special non-tethered bottle tops for Brexit Britain. This has recently been noted with fury in the pages of the Daily Telegraph and the Evening Standard. |

Sounds shocking. Better vote Conservative to stop this flagrant abuse of the benefits system. Oh -- hang on . . . . |
