How many on here were praying that blast from Eze in the lead up to the winning goal ripped into the roof of the net and he became a world wide star .
I thought he was excellent but playing at right back protecting a lead FFS that was nuts. To his credit he was covering that back post well and might have actually diverted it wide but it was a goal kick.
Palmer was good also and Toney made a huge impact but I would have put on Ollie Watkins myself to be honest.
Slovakia fell into the trap of sitting deep and panic clearences and they paid the price but it took a world class strike to deny them and HK did the rest.
Like I suspected they are dangerous now this will be the spark for sure |

Its nothing to do with the color of her skin or that she is a woman Brian its the fact she is simply one of the worst VPs in American history.
Biden was told to pick a black woman as his VP and they chose Kamala Harris despite her being one of the first ones to withdraw her name in the Presidental race of 2020 after getting very little votes in the primaries.She also called Biden a racist to his face during one of the debates in front of tv cameras and the country..
He appointed her border czar which turned out to be one of his biggest blunders. Not only did she rarely if ever visit the US /Mexico border but it turned into one of the greatest clusterfcuk with millions of migrants suffering to get here then simply being released inland due to overcrowding etc.
She is regarded as a bit of a laughing/giggling jackass even by lots in the media and listening to her speeches its not hard to see.
As always appointing a person by race instead of qualifications has backfired here.
She also cannot shake the Willie Brown sex scandel when she at 29 had an extra marrital affair with the SF Mayon Brown who was 60 then he appointed her to 2 political posts and she was off and running
Now she is front and center but only Biden himself can step aside he cannot be removed I think , so its all irrelevent he is going nowhere |

Agreed on Larkeche he appears to be more of an attacking option that defending balls to the wall type so if we cash in on Paal then we would need a new addition.
I would love to see Larkeche establish himself in the first 11 he seems to have a lot of drive and skill but has not been able to break through yet . |

Excellent post here and the US media are to blame for not only allowing Biden to hide in his basement during Covid but covering for him every step of the way.Now they are pretending to be shocked at his mental decline when the World could see it since 2020.
Neither man should be running IMO but having Biden as the leader of the US when he should be in a nursing home is just elder abuse.
The US ecomony is in terrible shape with prices off the charts , income tax and property tax as well as mortage rates through the roof and lets not mention 8 million + illigal immigrants released into the country in the last 4 years to basically do what they want all the while on Americas tit .
Once again the US needs somebody in their 40s or 50s male or female to be in the Oval Office and put this Country back in the place it used to be if that is even possible |

I think she was allright myself a sweet girl being careful in a bar nothing wrong with that.
I did get a laugh when she said he is playing for a club in London and her friend chipped in with "Arsenal I Think " it should have been obvious it was QPR
Is he staying or going does anybody have a clue and will the decision be next week .
I think by the way Marti rates him he could be staying |

interesting article but I disagree on their point signing Begovic was a mistake .
Who else was there and would anybody else play every second of every QPR game while under all that pressure and stress of a dogfight to stay up .
He did all he could and yes butchered a few games but its just football and the keeper has nowhere to hide .
Best of luck to him lets hope our new guy can be ever present and match the clean sheets |

I would not be shocked at all if England gave them a hammering and take advantage of the way the other results fell their way .They have heard all the negative stuff so I think they will respond on the field and could get on a serious roll with that talent..
I would start Palmer myself he is so full of energy and drive it would light the fire and like most posters agree its not the keeper or defense that has issues . |

Valid point and a lot of good teams knock each other out so that leaves the door open for anybody to go deep really.
England will be able to handle the next test Sunday and then its just a matter of taking it as it comes and just beating that team.
I picked them to make the final myself and still expect them to but they need to get the starting 11 and formation right.
Instead of scoring first maybe they fall behind and play with desperation instead of scoring first and going into reverse .
Southgate should have started Palmer and Gordon yesterday they both play with a lot of energy and are tough to defend then brough on Eze to give him another taste before its do or die games |

How brilliant is that we are so used to QPR players throwing their hands up and pointing the fingers at each other its no wonder the team was not one tight unit and you can never win anything like that.
He was full of praise for Chair and Willock i wonder if that meand CW might be central to his plans next year now.
Looking forward to preseason it could be fun for the fans who risk sunburn following them around |

With all the media turning on GA and some of the top players having to answer tough questions and reply to ex players cutting them down there is no was TAA is going to be in that first 11 IMO.
Also feel he will not drop Foden like some on here have suggested but instead play him where he can cut inside and shoot like he does every day with Man City.
I would love to see palmer get his chance myself regardless of his club team he has earned his spot on merit and could be a total wildcard for the opposition to handle.
I suspect it will all click here and an easy win for England |

I thought France were well on top and missed multiple chances plus passed up too many shots trying to play the perfect pass instead of shooting . No KM either so that rest and recovery will stand to him.
Having said all that Holland got completly screwed by VAR for that goalie interference what a load of siht it was an excellent goal just wiped out |

No rabbit stories here but I did witness 2 things on the first tee I thought would never happen and wont for the rest of my life.
1. A decent golfer was hitting off No 1 in my group after a morning of hard rain and at impact none of us or the group behind actually saw the ball.He literally drove it straight into the ground in front of the tee such was the angle of attack and soft ground .After we stopped laughing we let him re load for free and he manage to par the hole .
2. A complete and utter hacker ( but one of the nicest human beings ever) was playing with us on a tough course with water in front and behind the first tee .We play blue or middle tees so in the process of hitting off he bladed it with the driver hitting the front tee marker dead in the middle and came backwards past us into the lake behind us not only losing ground but the ball of course .
We never counted it just let him hit from where our tee shots landed otherwise we might be there still
We play for fun as everybody can tell nobody good enough to qualify for anything |

I simply cannot believe Palmer has not played 1 second so far and should be on before Bowen or Gallagher and even Eze going off his form for Chelsea.
Every team needs players who are in a good run and Palmer is doing that all year IMO.
Putting on Eze in this situation helps us ( cash incomming ?) but wont be much benefit to him IMO but England held on and have 4 points and still going to top the group |

I hope they keep it up the man was dead for 4 minutes according to everything I read so fair play to all involved .
We need more people trained in every walk of life to step in and help kick start the heart if someone goes down because right now being a Pro athlethe on the field is the best place if the heart stops beating .
I watched the BBC studio interview this year with the Luton captian and 2 other players who survived heart attacks only because they were playing and found it both emotional and powerful to be honest.
As for todays game I have a sneaky feeling Foden has been reading all the crap coming his way and will score 1 maybe 2.

There is absolutly zero chance Xavier Calm would take over if Marti heads off the greener pastures he will simply go with him as they are one unit basically IMO
No idea what the attraction Sunderland job offers other than financial but like most posters agree there is a price for everybody at every level so anything is possible.
Does anybody know if Marti is back at LF or the training facilities yet it would be nice to see a few videos just of him walking around by himself |

I found this new breakfast cafe about 10 years ago run by an excellent cook and his 2 sons who waited tables .I thought they were from Macadonia but they were from Albania. One of the boys spoke almost every day of their hope Albania could be granted entrance to the big tournaments ( they were banned or not recognized back then ) and how their fans are incredible .
A couple of years later they sold the cafe and moved back home to open a pizza place I think but I hope they are enjoying the Euros and running a succesful resturant .
The father always made soup in the morning and gave me a huge bowl for free almost every visit because not too many people came for lunch only breakfast . I miss him he was a nice man |
