If it stayed 2-0 and people moaned that we got beat 2-0 away to Everton then we really have some annoying fans. Hardly like we were going to outplay one of the top Britisg teams at the moment. The way we have played so far this season we couldn't take this team into the Premiership.
I don't even think Harry would hang around for the massacre that would ensue. He'd walk off (should we actually get promoted) with a "job done" smile on his face and leave someone else to manage the train wreck.
No way are we any where near being able to cope with the Premiership - and I'm not saying this because of today's little run out. Who would we keep from this lot who would make the grade in the Prem and who isn't getting too old?
Green? Barton? Austin? I can't think of very many others who aren't either on loan or haven't exactly set the world on fire at LR. |  |

Well if we need to get promoted with this lot playing for us, I'm not sure if it's worth it from a fan's point of view.
Frankly I'd rather try for mid-table Championship and build a proper team than put up with what's likely if we do go up as it stands. Don't think it'll come to it at the moment - unless there's some kind of transformation we're not going up at all. | |
