From the very first interview it sounded like Hughes was going to play him at CB, possibly till January, and he was prepared to accept that, but not overjoyed. He lost his way a small bit in the middle of the match where his eccentric personality took over a bit, and he started to become a bit wild with his decision making and passes. But he recovered from that and went on to have a really good game overall and covered a great amount of grass at the same time.
I'm really pleased he managed to settle himself down after that small period, it's an important sign that he can adjust when necessary in matches and that's something a lot of players struggle with once they get into a certain mindset during a game. |  | | |

Great positioning and defensive work and I think some of his passes went astray because he tried to be creative and often passed when dribbling towards the opponents goal. I think he also benefitted from playing alongside Ale Faurlin in this game. |  |
