I understand current owners saying they should not be penalised for past owners doings so simply strip the club of titles it ‘won’ during that time. It happened to Juventus.

Juventus were also automatically relegated.

There is a strong precedent here but I suspect this won't happen. RO was forced to sell because of the war and the people buying in inherited his doings, so I suspect that would be a strong factor in not 'prosecuting' the current owners.

The new owners aren't being penalised. The club is. There is a difference.

Because it would expose the FA and the Premier league to be as corrupt as the teams who are flouting the rules. Throw enough money the way of certain people in FIFA , the FA or Prem league and the problem goes away. Sadly a reflection of the society we live in.

So if the current owners of North Battersea feel that they shouldn’t be penalised but at the same time are negotiating with the FA about getting a fine instead, then they are still be penalised. A fine is a penalty. They should be treated like any other club irrespective of who was in charge at the time when the crimes were committed. This bunch have got away with PSR over the last few days as the FA allowed the sale of the women’s team (to themselves) and the hostels/BnB’s they own (to themselves), to be included in the accounts. Totally farcical. I just hope that a few more are caught taking drugs like Mudryk (£88million) wasted, and also Nkunku (£52million), who wants out. Too many egos in the squad to make it successful.
