Slavia Prague v QPR 13:36 - Jul 8 with 27149 viewsHooping_Mad

Just £5 on recast.

This season could be the very definition of madness.

From the preseason vid's I'm not sure how we think that figure is reasonable, especially on that platform.

Edit: 4pm Kick off I think.

Why are we just booting it up field? Can anyone see the plan here?

Some on here will tell you to ignore the evidence played out in front of our eyes in GA's spell in charge last season, and that's it's all going to be different this season.

It's hoofball, and if anyone expects anything different, I've got a bus with a poster on the side of it talking about £350 million a week you might like to buy.

Only 3 of those players will start first game hopefully. Shows what managers have been saying for ages that the back up is not good enough. Pretty sure Balogun can't play because of insurance reasons.

Goal kick, 1 touch, at the feet of their keeper.

What does that give the players in terms of readiness, utterly baffled.

Did we have any chances there? Think I remember a corner.

1 at least, but didnt see anything close to a goal chance for us.

And that was from an attempted back pass.

I'm going to watch the second half with the sound off. Don't these two ever stop yapping ?
As for the football, I'm having £10,000 on QPR to get promotion this season.

Did any longer term posters watch that first half and could summarize please?

Poll: Are we staying up?

I'm trying to keep positive by telling myself SP is a bigger club, a very good European side and that this is their 3rd preseason game. They're the straws I'm clutching at anyway.

First kick for almost every player in this first half (not sure how much game time Ilias got in the internationals). Many cobwebs to get cleared. Not overly concerned about this. GA is just allowing all players a run and so the combinations are going to be strange. I can see this and the game next Saturday (and perhaps a mid-week BCD game) being just that. Trying out various combinations to see how one player goes with others. At least the youngsters are getting a run.

To all the doomsayers watching this and commenting here, perhaps you have something better to do. This is the first pre-season game. Slavia Prague have played four games already this pre-season. I think they know each other a bit better than we do and what we are seeing is what we should expect to see. If they play like this against Oxford, then be concerned. But now, seriously?

And to those to need the moral high ground, you must be busy too.

You could call them straws but they are also facts.

Anyway the kit looks alright.

Fool's errand drawing many conclusions from a practice match.

But I think we've already seen how difficult it'll be to replace Dieng.

Bare bones.

Looked like Willock on with new hair on too, netted but ruled out for offside.

Willock puts the ball in the net buts it's ruled out.

The line between tragedy and comedy is razor thin.
