Half decent tv 06:36 - Apr 29 with 691909 views | LadbrokeR | I watched the last episode of line of duty and thought that was good. Undercover has finally grabbed by attention. I quite like some of the investigative programmes Stacey Dooley does. However I can't wait for the next series of people just do nothing.

I quite liked it, not as good as the original but has potential. First few of the original were a bit hit and miss as well Only seen the first 2 though | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Just watched the first two as well, and agree with you that they're taking a while to set up the series. Lots of exposition in the script. I'll stick with it because the potential is there, but it needs to get funny quick.

Boiling Point is the Brit version of The Bear. The film first and now the series. Haven't watched them yet but they look tasty.

Half decent tv on 09:38 - Oct 11 by ChrisNW6 | The Bear... Season 2 Episode 6 (Fishes) one of the finest 60mins of television I have seen. Brilliant casting and the cameo by Jamie Lee Curtis was genius. |
Absolutely. My daughter almost made us skip that episode as she said she only watched 20 mins of it and it wasn't good. It was absolutely outstanding, although to be fair to her she got us watching the show in the first place. Jamie Lee Curtis was amazing as you say. Just finished season 2 and absolutely loved both series which are very different but equally great. Long wait for season 3 now. The forks episode in season 2 was also a standout, absolutely superb.

Wow. Great review, thanks. I have nothing to recommend back atm, sorry. I'm re-watching Homeland, which is superb second time around, but might move to Das Boot.

Sorry Brian, that was a bit minimalist... Its a BIG budget drama centering around a German U-Boat and its crew but with other sub-plots going on in each series. For me what makes it so compelling is just how believable it is. The attention to detail on the sets/special effects etc is incredible. I found some of it jaw dropping tbh just how much it must have cost. I also loved some of the characters, theirs a real rich, complexity to them. Some are really human with vulnerabilities, some are ruthless, driven and cold blooded. It does that thing of getting you really emotionally attached to some characters and of course you are totally gutted when they don’t make it… No idea what happens in series 4 but it only has 6 episodes (according to Wiki) so I hope they are not cutting any corners for this latest series?
Half decent tv on 14:02 - Oct 24 with 3958 views | R_from_afar | The first episode of "Six four" on ITV was pretty decent. It's a crime thriller, not the defence/midfield formation Ainsworth is planning to use tonight

I wasn't being sarcastic with my last reply! Sorry if it came across that way. Thanks for the longer review as well. I'll definitely watch this.

Half decent tv on 21:22 - Nov 6 with 3156 views | Metallica_Hoop | 3 episodes into the the German thriller 'Sleeping dogs' I'm enjoying it thus far. It's a bit different to your usual cop drama as the 'cop' has spent most of it homeless living on the street with mental health issues. It has also introduced me to Luise Von Finckh who's like a German Scully. (in my head)
