HALL RIGHT NOW: The 100 questions Portpin need to answer... Part 3
HALL RIGHT NOW: The 100 questions Portpin need to answer... Part 3

I don't know if Balram Chainrai is a fan of Spandau Ballet, but a lyric from one of the 1980s new romantic combo's early hits sprung to mind. Questions questions, Give me no answers... Rest assured, I'm not going to cut this long story short...

Since Portpin's arrival on the Pompey scene, the longer they hang around, the more questions there are. Here's the latest batch Portpin fail to answer, despite being given every opportunity to do so.

After Portpin's decision to appoint Tavistock Communications as their PR company, we at least have someone to ask the questions of. I have so far collected in excess of 100 questions suggested by inquisitive Pompey fans. If there's a question you want us to ask, please send it hallrightnow@pompey-fans.com and we'll try to ask it. I have now sent two batches totalling 33 questions to Tavistock and I publish their reponses below.

The answers so far remain none too illuminating of course. However, I will continue to ask the questions and publish the reponse at approximately ten at a time.

Click here to read questions 1-13 and here to read questions 14-23 sent to Portpin and their responses.

24. From January 9th to February 10th Portpin controlled all of the above but additionally had a charge on all monies, assets and the enterprise of Portsmouth FC, given to them by their solicitor Mark Jacob. Do they still maintain they had no operational control? Portpin: No comment.

25. Portpin fired Fuglers and moved their client account to Balsara following the discovery of a series of "unauthorised payments", unauthorised by Portpin. As all other payments were clearly authorised, do they still maintain they had no operational control? Portpin: No comment.

26. In the same Independent interview, Mr Chainrai said: "I therefore had no knowledge of what Daniel Azougy's role was." Between October 6th 2009 and February 8th 2010 Portsmouth Football Club was run by Mark Jacob, their solicitor. Why did they not ask him what Daniel Azougy's role was? Portpin: No comment.

27. Mr Azougy is a long time associate of Yoram Yossifoff who Mr Chainrai described in the interview as a good friend and documentary evidence proves was also in the direct chain of command at Portsmouth Football Club, acting as a shadow director. Why did Mr Chainrai not ask his good friend what the role of Daniel Azougy was? Portpin: No comment.

28. Mr Chainrai attended a fixture versus Manchester United in November 2009. At that fixture were Yoram Yossifoff and family, Daniel Azougy and family and Balram Chainrai and Levi Kushnir with their families. They arrived together, socialised together and sat together. Why did they not ask Mr Azougy what his role was? Portpin: No comment.

29. Mr Chainrai and Mr Kushnir attended other fixtures at which they arrived, left and sat with Daniel Azougy. Why did they not ask Mr Azougy what his role was? Portpin: No comment.

30. In December 2009 the Sun ran an article confirming the rumour that Daniel Azougy had four convictions for fraud and was in charge of the finances. Why did they not ask their solicitor about Mr Azougy? Portpin: No comment.

31. In December 2009 Mr Jacob gave an interview in which he confirmed Mr Azougy was a fraudster but that Mr Jacob had operational control over the finances. Is it their suggestion that Mr Jacob told this to a national newspaper but not you, his employer? Portpin: No comment.

32. Was Mr Jacob lying when he confirmed his operational control over the finances as your employee? Portpin: No comment.

33. Are you familiar with the phrase "wilful blindness"? Portpin: No comment.

I have sent the next batch of ten questions to Tavistock and hopefully I will be able to bring you some answers to those on Friday. Click here to read why PFC owe Portpin absolutely nothing...

I think we can take it that their response to fans' questions can be summed up in two words. And it's not 'no comment'.

Mr Chainrai and Mr Kushnir went to different apparatuses at which they arrived, left and sat with Daniel Azougy. For what reason did they not ask Mr Azougy what his job was?
