Wrexham apparently made 8 changes from the team they fielded on the weekend and Peterborough only made 2 changes from their weekend team.

Yes I also think Corbyn was robbed and like you say he was our chance (to turn things around for the good of the country), him and his team had good policy ideas.

Looking at a bio thing on Lavrov, i didn't know that Lavrov is a massive Spartak Moscow fan, you learn something every day as they say (I now know what football teams Putin and Lavrov both support) another unusual thing about him that not many people can say I'm sure is that he is fluent in a Maldives language and a Sri Lankan language, how mad is that, as well as English, French and Russian.

Found it, it's a long article the bit about Lavrov in it is :- A veteran European diplomat who has dealt with the Russians and the Americans told me that when the grizzled, highly experienced Lavrov met Trump's novice Secretary of State Marco Rubio "he would have eaten him like a soft-boiled egg."
That made me laugh.

Lavrov is a very impressive operator, I first seen him years ago, speaks well, knows his stuff, formidable, haven't seen him speaking recently so don't know what he is like these days as he is getting older, read the Beebs main journalist take on the Ukraine situation other day, that Welsh guy, name escapes me and if I remember he said something about speaking to a veteran foreign office guy who said that Lavrov who (if I remember the quote) would eat the Yank (can't remember his name so I'm calling him the Yank) alive like a soft boiled egg, when it comes to sorting out a deal.
Lavrov, even Putin and that attractive woman they have are impressive operators, American and British leaders are fools and idiots in comparison to those operators.

2 tier keir wants to send troops to Ukraine
at 15:33 25 Feb 2025

Yes it is very Machiavelian as you say and seems like America and Russia might be about to carve the Ukraine up, although no doubt some Ukraine will stay, will it be an American puppet in charge ? (is there one in charge now ?), its what America has been accused of doing since the second World War, destabilise countries, overthrow governments by backdoor means and get a puppet in
charge that is friendly to American interests.

I seen a documentary a while back saying the Yanks had tried it 50 odd times since the second World War and actually succeeded on roughly
half of those occasions.

I noticed some comments on social media after Russia and America met for talks in Saudi Arabia, that people were saying the cheek of it, Russia and America meeting for peace talks over Ukraine when Russia and America were the two that started it.

For the uninitiated one story is the democratically elected Ukrainian leader who was pro Russia was overthrown by CIA type operation to get a pro Yank in place and eventually get nato missiles on Russia's doorstep blah blah blah, get access to the Ukraines mineral wealth etc that's one of the theories and if so, it's a cheek America saying they are going to organise peace in Ukraine when they might well have helped destabilised it in the first place.

Israel attack on Iran imminent

It's a game, people of a certain persuasion accusing others of being racist, antisemitic etc, they do it to shut down debate, they try to label innocent people to try and discredit them, it's an old trick that they play.
Don't fall for the woke nonsense.

Found an even more profitable one now in the Brighton v Bournemouth game the same night obviously they are not that super common but you can find them if you are prepared to spend a bit of time looking, shots, cards, corners etc.

Palace v Villa Tuesday night, Villa over 4.5 corners with a major bookie (advertise on the box all the time) currently 5/6, another major bookie currently offering Villa under 4.5 corners at 6/4.

So you could put on 600 notes to return 1100 notes with one bookie and 440 notes to return 1100 notes with the other bookie guaranteed 60 quid no risk for doing nothing, I don't want to encourage anybody as I know what I'm doing, what side of the bet to bet on first, two phones so the bets are put on just seconds apart etc.
Bookies don't want winners only losers for customers.

Cameras in there these days, try to put a decent size bet on and they phone head office, you might get the bet on that one time but they will have your mug shot and ban you from the shop the next time you try to get a sizable bet on particularly if its a winner but they can even ban or restrict you even if its not a winner as they might recognise it as a good value bet and people that place those bets are going to win in the long run, bookies don't like it up them.

Yes I'm not really overly familiar with the term myself, I've only been aware of in recent years, bookies either totally ban me for winning like Boylesports, reduce my bets to pennies in the case of Ladbrokes, William Hill, Corals etc, odds set so I can win no more than a fiver with 365, unable to take part in promotions like free spins, superboosts etc, anyway around it ?, I find 'arbs' and bet both sides so I can't lose but with reduced stakes I can't put on 4 figures or 3 figures on either side, struggling to get 2 figures on either side these days actually.

Labour's last hope?

Corbyn in some respects was Labour's hope, Tories have taken over the Labour party, Starmer, Reeves etc are Tories, they should not be in the Labour Party they should be in the Conservative party.

I saw no evidence that it was a knock on, I don't think the try should have been ruled out for the grounding.

As regards you you personally think that there was separation and you would have ruled the try out for the grounding if it was upto you on what you have seen ?
