Madsen...?

You ever play rugby against bigger kids in school and INSTANTLY throw the ball to a teammate whenever it's given to you for fear of getting trampled? I get the impression something similar is happening with Madsen.

I feel like I give players a lot of time as I've learnt the hard way about criticizing players too early on. Maybe I'm writing this because I want someone to convince me about him (given he's costed 2-3m) but I'm continuously baffled about the way he performs.

We have Marti, a great coach, and 4-5 employees with "performance" in their name that have surely set out a plan and objectives to work closely with him, especially given the investment the club have made in him, surely they are fuming behind the scenes as they can't be asking him to do this?

It's so frustrating because you can tell there are qualities with his passing, but physically he is both not capable and not trying. Passing the ball instantly sideways or backwards without hesitation back to a teammate without making any creative runs or getting in to space does wonders for your pass completion stats, but absolutely nothing for the team. If there was ever a question about his physicality, they've deemed him so ineffective from winning aeriel duels that he's taking the corners at 6ft4, I just don't get it.

Takes alot for me to be negative about individual players, but I'm more furious with Madsen today than Ashby, despite the latter contributing to 3/4 goals. Probably says alot.

Who do we reckon goes down from this stage?

Obviously all up for grabs and so much can change - Incredibly Luton looking worrying at the moment, but can't see it happening.

QPR survival needs about 1 point per game from here on out (50 pts) which is incredible seeing where we were a month ago.
