Bit on the radio earlier , the need for petrol is becoming less depend theses days .
Many vehicles Hybrid , EV or nobody bothering to drive anymore , like me thankfully .
Appreciate a lot of local business look at the forecout price and move on to the best deal .
Saudi are still our main supplier for fuel , they still want to make mega bucks on their resorures and live in luxury , they do not want to lose that income any time soon .
Loss of petrol driven cars will affect their finances .
Possibility the 5p duty on petrol prices will be put back on in the next Budget though .
Old enough to remember 1p per gallon increase causing chaos at the petrol pumps . |

My vote in the last General Election was in part based on who can control the small boats .
Last lot were a failed talking shop of promises and solutions to the problem , all a waste of time and money , Rwanda , that barge with legionnaires disease and throwing cash at the French to make an effort to stop the crossings , are they trying I sometimes wonder .
This new lot talked tough on their new bright ideas , think they appointed another nobody with a background in waffle as head of our Border Control , his new ideas are working well .
Question will be why try to get to the UK , first safe and Country refugees get to should be their safe haven and try to settle there , that I thought was the accepted ruling .
Most of Europe is being swamped by mass immigration , their Goverments will move them on as the law allows , France included .
Sadly in the face of conflict and toubles , there are many winners rubbing their hands at the incoming cash in hand , sod the rules and innocents involved then losing their lives . |

Lot of hot air and waffle coming from the UN Security Council today , anyone listening .
A toothless tiger springs to mind to describe them , always has been the case .
Russia , China and North Korea laugh at the organisation , a talking shop .
Netanyahu and Putin have proved that point , determined World leaders ignore the rules .
Religion and past historic faults , right or wrong are the deep rooted problems of today .
Many cultures are still taking revenge , blaming King Richard and the Crusaders way back .
Worrying thing of course is the threat to target nuclear power plants and awful effects .
Old enough to remember Chernobyl going up , scary stuff and a brilliant box set depicting that event is worth watching |

Yep , never wanted or voted for a WAG back then , another obvious white elephant .
Had a Westminster MP , a EU member Politician and another nobody in Cardiff supposedly looking after my interests.
Three gravy train freeloaders getting as much as they can and claiming it is all legit .
Did I ever see anyone of them locally or doing debating sessions in my area , forget it . |

Best I ever had was a freebie mug , biro and next years diary from a supplier rep and all with their logo on it , it really was a real bit of promotion for that company , I took the tea cup and everything else on offer of course , anything for nothing was the gimme then .
That was many years ago , even then a colleague refused to take accept the gift and thought it was a bribe , he stood by his decision , well done to him looking back at that time .
Moving on to now , the ruling for me as an employee is no sweetners accepted at all .
Politicians find a sewer rat escape clause in all their expense claims . |

Reports seem to suggest the Lebanese people do not want conflict but Hezbollah have the final say in that Country sadly , innocents caught in the cross hairs of war .
Bigger picture who knows , propoganda news is Iran knew the Iron Dome would take out their attack , helped by Uncle Sams aircraft carrier now in the Gulf , Jordan involved too .
Why do it if a lost mission from the start , why poke the bear unnecessarily , it will not be a good outcome for someone .
Israel seem all out to protect their Country and population from attack .
Current Worldwide mess we are in who can blame them , despots and religion rule |

Many years ago the Bleep test was the guide for fitness , and it was so simple to copy .
Repetition of sprints at 20 sec interval between 2 given points until anyone fails and out .
Tried it in the Loading area once with a couple of traffic cones as the markers , so easy .
Colleague had the timer on for your duration , miss it over and out .
Think the sprint ant turn was 20 metres back and fore , it was tough , I thought I was fit but failed dismally after a few shuttle runs .
Read up about that drill , it seems the best athletes on that were Seb Coe and Beckham . [Post edited 1 Oct 1:19]

Irrelevant of all this carbon neutral nonsense , lets all go green policy and we are all tree huggers now the bottom line is TATA will now open another blast furnace in India with no regard for their lawmaking over emissions , has China also pledged to reduce air pollution .
Tata has taken the UK Governments money , put a recycling drop off point in Port Talbot .
India and their industries wlll be rubbing their hands , bring it on .
Bigger picture is Steel and Coal history are now lost from South Wales forever .
Some will applauded and cheer this news , but for me a sad day , our heritage gone .

Elon Musk has criticised the UK Goverment for jailing keyboard warriors but now letting the real criminals back into society , some reports suggest re offending took place soon after.
No idea of his back story and thoughts on our criminal system , maybe he has a point .
Social media will stir up nonsense , ignore it and move on to their next topic online .
How the new PM and his cronies solve prision population and overcrowding , good luck .

Top tier of the old wooden Double Decker stalls and North Bank will still live with me .
So many younger local work colleagues have Man City , Man U,as their go to first result .
They might make a polite ask how the Swans got on that day though .
Football is big business now , maybe not a sport anymore unfortunately .
Sunday afternoon whoever I sit by in the East , somebody made the effort to be there . |

Politician , some good and true on £ 91k per annum I can accept that wage they get .
Premier League footballers would not get out of their bed for that money .
The problems arise when the word honesty and openness are worded alongside MPs.
In the current climate I look at many Politicians of all parties in it for kudos and gain .
Sadly the very top table of Government are making the best of anything on offer free .
Would any of us , the great unwashed turn down a freebie if offered , I would not .
Goverment will waffle on about not the tax payers money , all declared and above board .
Biggest issue is the vague and obscure rulings on second homes with all bills paid by the taxpayer , nice to have a nest egg when losing your seat in Westminster .
House of Lords £ 350 per day to sign in show your face then go home to your Mansion .
I could do that easily . |

First and only visit to The White Hart Inn some time ago was on the advice of some colleagues who sang the praises of the place .
Called in after a visit to Carmarthen and as soon as we walked into the place the atmosphere hit us as being unwelcome things from another planet .
The staff obviously looked after their regulars with far more care than ourselves , even their meals were being served way before us and arriving after us . After 45 mins of waiting for our food I asked what is the delay in our service , excuses followed but no explanation .
Never been back and never will . |

Somehow got through my O levels studies in a back bedroom in our family Council House .
A levels were a bridge to far though , not clever enough and time to get a job , easy then .
Starmer moans journalists and press parked on his doorstep , mush it goes with the role .
Simple answer hire some crowd control officials , then they can move them on quoting trespass and public order as a potential issue , he is a lawyer , he will know the rules and have the money to pay for that course of action .
Lord Ali his bestie funded it , Starmer said not the taxpayer , so thats ok then .
Two Tier Kier thinks it is fine to have a quiet place for his son to learn and sod the rest .
Party of the People , what a joke this lot are . |

According to the latest BBC bulletin , Health Minister Wes Streeting has said the NHS is broken , true or not or spin to slag the Tories and this black hole they left behind .
If a Politician has actually said the truth I will doff my cap to that person , well done them.

Cyril Smith MP for Rochdale child abuse grooming gangs rife in that area still now being reported as current and past crimes .
How does it a named high ranking Politician once lurked alongside them predators , sad .
Stories came out again after him eating too many pies and leaving us he was a perv .
File under Saville and the rest of the dodgy so called Leaders .

As an ex TGWU and Unite member , retired lets see how much the Unions now take control of pay negotiations , Labour have already caved in to Junior Doctors and train drivers .
See a Doctor at my Primary Care , forget it but send us a photo of the problem , wow .
Train Drivers on £70 k + per year, Starmer stated they were necessary to keep the UK going.
There are far more important and needed people in everyday life who would like 70 grand a year for doing essential and the dirty jobs , a true Labour policy would put them first .
Never wanted him or voted for him , another load of charlatans and chancers at the helm . |
