Are we in talks with anyone who could even be considered a feasible replacement for Grimes? I haven't seen anything that sounded advanced for a while. What happened to the Swedish lad? |

I very much think you're right. Even if we were likely to breach the rules, it would only be slightly over with a maybe 3 point deduction next season. If we had strengthened at the beginning of the window we could still have been an outside chance of the players offs and not in a relegation battle. |

The problem is that the manager is still here and he dictates the possession based tactics. We now don't have any players capable of playing it. |

Portsmouth have spent £1.25m as well. Those teams below us are investing, we are selling anything that moves |

We need a Trundle / Michu style flair player who gets people wanting to watch us. Shouldn't be too hard to find in a week |

If Grimes goes gor around £3M, then we should have received around £4.5M this window. There is a week to go. That could mean we will see several new players coming in. A couple of decent players with potential and hopefully a flair player and a striker and things could be looking up. |

You can if he plays for Swansea. It's very low but that's a recurring theme |

They just happen to be interested in him the week that we are playing them? A bit like WBA are interested in Williams on the week that we are playing them |

Millions wasted on the recruitment of players and managers since he came on the scene. For me, he is the root of the problems |

A proper captain like Roy Keane, Stuart Pearce etc would have given them hell game after game. But, as you say, Grimes seems to do exactly the same thing, Disappears and stays silent. |

There wasn't exactly stiff competition for that accolade. He clearly has some level of talent going forward, but defensively he is disinterested. Going back to the parks football comment, if you'd been playing in a Sunday league match and ambled back in the way that he had when they'd scored, you'd have been buying a round after the game as punishment. In many ways that comes down to the Captain as well. I'd have been worried about the pasting I'd gave got off the captain and team mates. I doubt that Grimes said anything to him [Post edited 26 Jan 10:03]

After the 3rd went in only Delcroix and Cabango were doing much of anything. Williams talks of the players being tired but we lose 5-1, the defence was run ragged (apart from Tymon who barely got above a walk) and they all play 90 minutes. Tjoe-a-on must be terrible to not even got off the bench in this team |

He isn't working at the moment and hasn't had a club for a couple of years. Might be interested in taking the job to prove himself again and go on to bigger things. |

Watching the "highlights" back again this morning. Tymon should never wear the shirt again. There must be better left backs in local league football. For the first goal he goes forward to close down a player outside their box. The ball is easily played around him. Then he is in camera shot all the way to the goal. He is clearly just trotting. Barely above a walk. The ball comes out to Sargent and he has all the time in the world to puck his spot. Second goal, same story. Third goal, Key loses it. Their player runs across Delcroix (I think) the other centre back tracks a runner. Where is Tymon to support the left side of the box? He is walking around the edge if the box disinterested. Who thought he was worth 2 million? We won't get £2 for him. |

Coleman came in at the start of the summer 2023. That transfer window saw us spend about £7m on players who are now worth £1m at most. We signed Pederson on £20k a week to play almost no games in 2 years. The signings and management of the club has sunk lower and lower the linger he has been here. He might have put money in, but he needs to become a silent owner ASAP He is clueless and is destroying the club |

We went 26 games without a win under Martin, is it worse than that? If you take the last 4 years, it has been poor but not as bad as under Petty etc. It has been the worst period since 2003 because we are back to the days of worrying about finances and relegation. The football on display first half against Sheff Utd was good. But it's inconsistent. Williams needs to go. The "Swansea way" has to go. Amateurish running of the club needs to go. If the investors want to see some return the club needs a clear out. |

Javi Gracia is available and has good experience in the league. We have done well in the past with foreign managers [Post edited 25 Jan 15:14]

We need someone new in that has a good amount of experience rather than another novice that the players don't respect. Preferably someone who played the game at a high standard for their career. |
