I can't remember what game or what commentary team it was in the last couple of weeks but they were calling him Michael Frey. It threw me off because I thought he was Michi. [Post edited 24 Sep 13:50]

I've been many many times to Berlin, unfortunately I don't really have any proper recommendations apart from just walk around and see the sights, eat a döner (pronounced dooner, not dona) kebab and also get a currywurst. Döner and currywurst are both said to originate in Berlin. The most famous places you can try are Mustafa's Gemüse Kebap https://maps.app.goo.gl/fyCDLfncVPxGizYi6 (likely to wait up to an hour) and Curry 36 https://maps.app.goo.gl/72h8UBfjgPajpSsdA which are dotted around Berlin but there is also one next to Mustafa's so you could kill two birds with one stone there. |

Personally I hope they face little to no punishment. I quite enjoy how they stop Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United winning anything. The fans of those clubs are insufferable. Edit: I just realised I forgot Chelsea but they are so off from winning anything these days anyway. [Post edited 13 Sep 7:35]

This is before my time. I have a couple of questions... Why did Tommy Langley only last one season? Purchased for 400k, sold a year later for 200k. I always associate Chris Woods with Sheffield Wednesday, purchased for 250k by QPR, sold 2 seasons later for 225k, he went on to have a very successful career. Why did it not work out at QPR? |

68 goals in 100 appearances at international level is pretty phenomenal to be honest. A better goals per game record than Ronaldo (CR7), Messi, Lewandowski, Neymar, Klose, Suarez, Ronaldo (R9), Ibramhimovic, Villa, Salah etc etc etc. Basically there's very few top strikers with a better record than him at international level. |

I don't think it's as scary as the headlines are going to make out. Obviously with Oasis and high profile cases where the price shot up 3 times original value is not great. In football though and especially clubs like ours where the tickets rarely sell out it won't be a problem. If there's a couple of days before the game and there's a couple of thousand tickets left they can lower the prices by £5 to encourage to sell and alternatively in the clubs favour if there are only a couple of hundred tickets left and heading for a sell out they can raise by £5. |

Do you think Marti said on Friday that if they won the game they could get 4/5 days off? |
| Forum Reply | Loftus Road renovation/revamp at 01:49 1 Sep 2024
How's it possible to dig down at Loftus Road? The stands are already super close to the pitch compared to other stadiums. Wouldn't digging down make the pitch smaller? |

Yeah but they don't though. Oasis and the people behind them say how many tickets should be made available at "dynamic pricing" and they also say how much should be charged. Ticketmaster may suggest based on data what price the artist could receive per ticket but it's down to the management to sign off on this. They could if they wanted say they don't want to charge higher prices but you know, I know, we all know that the only reason that Oasis are reforming is for the money. In other news, I donated to the Noel Gallagher divorce fund. I got 4 tickets for Wembley during the presale. That took long enough with a fraction of the people looking for tickets. I feel for the people that had to deal with it today. |

Not far enough in my opinion. It should be banned everywhere. It's vile and selfish. I think the old government were talking about raising the legal age a year every year. Slowly phase smoking out. Get to it. |

Who? Please show me a YouTube video compilation of his goals containing all his good bits, leaving out all his missed sitters oh and please have some terrible background music with some flashy budget opening graphics to go along with it. |

Seems a strange signing if true. Loaning a 19 year old to be in our development squad? I'm guessing that's where he's going as he's not had a senior career yet. |
| Forum Reply | Critch gone from Blackpool at 14:29 21 Aug 2024
Judging by the write up on Dembele from the Blackpool fan, they don't sound too happy with the football under Critchley. “Neil 'quality in key moments' Critchley is not a man for risks. He's not the kind of manager who enjoys free jazz improvisation or free-wheelin' rock n roll. He's more of a safety first, driving three miles under the speed limit, best of the Lighthouse Family on the stereo kind of guy. He's a collector of solid pros. All round players who are rank average at everything and outstanding at nothing. “Last season was boring. It had neither the spleen venting raging anger of a disaster, not the giddy, childlike Christmas morning excitement of a success. It was. (mostly) nothing. A boring team, made up of (mostly) boring players being semi competent sometimes and a bit lacking at others. It felt as if all of our squad were the same honest pro, their workmanlike efforts and steady characters bleeding together into one grey footballer. " |

Finally....some rumours! I wouldn't look too much into his goal scoring record. It seems he is the clubs penalty taker, they seemed to get a lot of penalties last season and have had one already this season. |

Obviously not sure what was said in each case, or the context, but it was interesting to see directly after the red card Jack Robinson arguing with the referee and faced no consequences. |
| Forum Reply | Eze release clause at 09:25 17 Aug 2024
I reckon it's pretty much dead in the water now. For this season at least. All the clubs wanting to buy him would have known about the release clause and the expiry date. Palace are not going to want to sell having lost Olise and probably also Guehi. Tottenham, who I thought was his likely destination just signed a younger version of Eze for half the money. The Palace chairman when talking about Olise last week said there have been "no concrete enquiries" for Eze. Let's hope he has a good season and can get a similar offer to what his release clause was. |
