Whatever the word means, it hasn't provoked anyone, most of us are just so incredibly disappointed with what we have got for the money spent, and why he gets picked ahead of others who have more talent, who have more to offer and are more identified with the old 60's and 70's version of what QPR meant.
I'm happy to accept that whoever bought him has a lot to answer for, likewise whoever picks him has just as much to answer for.
I'd prefer it if he never plays again. Maybe its not his fault, but the same could said could be said of Iorfa, Morrow, Ready, Malcolm, Hateley and the rest. In fact, Hatelely comes closest to everything that's wrong with SWP, a big money signing and fook hall to show for it.
Can't feel too sorry for SWP because he's still trousers £10,000 a day. Defend that. Can we leave it there? I will, unless SWP gets picked for the Arsenal game, then I start to worry about it being a conspiracy by agents to get QPR relegated.

Im not sure anyone is looking for sympathy for swp here. I just want whats best for the club.
Even though its only on a message board, its a little naive to think that the player in question doesn't get to hear about it, especially when its been going on for what,..12 months?
In my eyes, its detriment to the player, and so detriment to my club.
Maybe, just maybe, his dwindling confidence isn't so incoincindental with the jibbering he gets on here.

The money is a bit of a distraction in my opinion. If a player is playing well, then we don't ask questions about the money. If he isn't playing well, or is sitting on the bench, then the money rears its ugly head.
He is going to be paid the money whether he is sitting on the bench or not.
Personally, I am much happier that he is paid and doesn't play than if he is paid and does play, as I think the team is better without him. |  |

Sorry, Monkey_Roots, but as I mentioned earlier, a lot of threads are being started or joined by posters who have just joined the site, and who have, to put it diplomatically, a very similar style.
Nothing wrong with strong opinions, it's just that a lot of these new posters *immediately* hit the ground running with strong opinions (often with the same strong opinion as another poster on the same thread), when you might expect a new poster to introduce themselves, and to let us know their favourite milk-based food product. |
