Norwich City v Swansea City : Mach day thread on 14:44 - Jan 25 with 2135 views | RichardO | Midfield and front players chasing shadows, fullbacks who don't know the concepts of safety first and keep the ball moving. If an area of the pitch is too tight to play the passing game then you get it to areas of the pitch which are safe, The forwards were making runs constantly off the ball being ignored. A defensive midfielder who will not or cannot play the role effectively. Their second goal just knocked the stuffing out of the team and the fans, we had seen it all before with Martin. Now at the point where I would be happy to see the back of both Grimes and Williams. [Post edited 25 Jan 14:45]

Norwich City v Swansea City : Mach day thread on 14:48 - Jan 25 with 2079 views | RhonddaSwans | He should of gone after the Cardiff game end of. For the first time in years I don't enjoy Saturday. The players have lost faith his style of play, it is boring and predictable. You have to pay for quality, league one wages will only ever attract league one players. We have New owners with zero ambition, we are firmly back to where we started before promotion. Playing for the Swans and rolling over like this week after week is beyond embarrassing. Luke needs the sack now. They waited this long to sack luke for one reason and that is that transfer window slamming shut. Spread sheets and penny pinching wrecks a brand. This is a downward spiral we need action Andy! SWANSEA TILL I DIE [Post edited 25 Jan 14:54]

It’s pretty basic isn’t it Richard Quite why the players have not confronted Williams over this is what most concerns me That said,Grims is the most self centred ,self indulgent employee we have . He is an utter disgrace and his insouciance has permeated the whole squad. He needs benching until we can sell him He loves Swansea apparently but lives in Nieuport and his family is settled . It’s just nauseating

They’ve done worse. They’ve just stopped playing for him. They aren’t blameless in this at all.

Norwich City v Swansea City : Mach day thread on 14:53 - Jan 25 with 2000 views | wwcigne | Tymon and Key have to be the worst defenders in any of the leagues ,Tymon at fault for the first 2 ,Key for the 3rd ,both are useless in their positioning getting caught out time and again, every time someone runs at them you know a cross will come in as they just seem powerless or just don’t have the ability to get a block or tackle in, add to that they are both very light in the tackle and are pushed off the ball far too often and easily, usually costing us , when they go forward and loose the ball they trot back instead of busting a gut for the team to atone for their mistakes. Have to add Grimes is killing us being so deep and so slow with the ball ,when he has pushed forward he looks a different player and has started moves that have created chances, albeit easily defended ones I turned it off after the 3rd as I couldn’t watch any more,I feel so sorry for the Jacks who made the effort to travel such a long way for an early kickoff to witness another unacceptable performance ,especially after Hull,Portsmouth,Southampton and them up the road. Williams is responsible for these awful performances (although some of the players need a long hard look at themselves also)and has to be replaced, his position is surely untenable now ,we need a new coach /manager brought in that can sort this mess out and quickly ,because make no mistake,we are on a downward spiral heading towards a relegation battle if we don’t make a change , especially when some teams below us have turned their season around and are now winning games .

And if we ever wanted proof as to why Grimes isn’t ever injured, today did just that. He doesn’t do anything to get injured!!!

Norwich City v Swansea City : Mach day thread on 14:57 - Jan 25 with 1930 views | GVJack | Haven't seen the game today but reading this thread in real time confirms it's been another shambles. Players aren't blameless, no. But the same manager keeps putting the same players out with the same instructions. If they're not following his instructions then he needs to have the cohonas to drop them. If he's happy with how they're contributing... Well then there's your answer. Not purely based on today's result but I've said since December he has to go. He's lost the majority of the fans, the players must be lacking confidence as well. Can he really look himself in the mirror and say "I'm the best person for this job" the answer is obviously no and he should offer his resignation immediately. If the answer is "yes" Coleman needs to arrange people in white coats to have his assessed because he's deluded. Either way, he should resign or be sacked before the team bus sets off from Carrow Road this afternoon.

I started ranting at Williams and he u-turned and walked off. COWARD. Felt sorry for Parker - he has already had attacking the opposition coached out of him. As for Key, I can't use suitable words before 9pm. Gawd help us if LW stays after this debacle. Thankfully I am unlikely to meet any Norwich supporters in the next few days. Oh...

Norwich City v Swansea City : Mach day thread on 15:12 - Jan 25 with 1732 views | OptimisticJack | Delacroix for me had a very good game for the first hour. Poor management by Luke Williams keeping him on after that on his debut and having Naughton on the bench. He was hung out to dry. Williams in my opinion kept him on to prove a point to show our lack of strength. [Post edited 25 Jan 15:19]

Delacroix did play well up to a point, covered Cabango mistakes as Cabango seemed to trying too hard.Sad to see it end so badly for him and the team given his mistake but seemed comfortable for the most part at this level. Something fundamentally wrong with a team that keeps on giving hard fought points away instantly after seemingly getting back into games.

Trade center wales should take him on. Obviously not as a manager maybe cleaning the part ex cars. Under supervision of corse as luke would find a way of doing it wrong. 🫡

Capable players are getting worse and worse under this coach. They need a break from him just as much as us supporters do.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

That's my point Doc, Key and Tymon are decent enough, struggling with confidence , the set up and a bloody awful midfield. Make no mistake, Key had a shocker but he's a far better player that he's currently showing.

Even Vig is losing his mojo. That error in the game where he somehow contrived to kick the ball backwards and out for a corner beggars belief.

There's not a single player who Williams has made better (a strong case could be made for Bellamy having a more beneficial effect on Cullen) and an awful lot who he has made worse. You can see that we're clearly not playing to the strengths of some whilst others are being deliberately hamstrung by being used out of position. All in service so some idiotic process/system call it what you want.

Norwich City v Swansea City : Mach day thread on 16:52 - Jan 25 with 1083 views | HellesdonJack | I very rarely comment on matches unless I'm there in person, as TV coverage often doesn't give a complete picture, but today was surely beyond doubt in that respect. Anyone watching that could see a team with no direction, no cohension and a general air of wanting out. Going back to Parker again, I was looking forward to seeing his pace along the wing, but once the first pass back from him happened, my heart sank. I hope any potential incoming players (insert punchline here) have got a good sense of gallows humour and a high pain threshold.

As you say, today was one of those games you didn’t have to be at to get the complete picture. I wouldn’t worry about Parker. He came on to a team who had given up. If there’s no energy or desire from your teammates, it’s very easy to just come on and keep your head down. He’ll be ok once we get rid of Williams, as will Key, Tymon, Grimes and anyone else who was poor today.
