Because Sports Republic are quite happy with the situation. We were effectively relegated during the weekend the clocks went back and will be playing in The Championship next season. Why then would they wish to waste more money getting shot of him ? Given our current league position together with the quality of the squad there’s not a manager on the face of the earth that would be able to save us from relegation now. This season is over. Look forward to next August with the great messiah Russell in charge. Cheaper tickets, more games, no V A R and we may even win a few matches.

'Sports Republic are quite happy with the situation' Well they are nothing more than fraudsters for selling tickets for this shit.

whilst I agree with your sentiment in actuality most PL games will sell out and go to Ticket Exchange so those that see that on pitch farce as more important than an excuse to spend the day in the pub (less 90 minutes) can get a rolling refund

If the next 3 games follow the same pathetic team selection, non tactical nous, crap subs and lack of Plan B I will cancel my ST after the spurs game

The Championship may be rather less fun next season. SKY seem to be doing a good job of buggering up a perfect formula by ensuring that three games kick off at 12.30pm each Saturday lunchtime. An absolute pain in the arse. Tickets won't necessarily be cheaper either, certainly not for away games anyway.

Same as. Probably in the contract that you can’t relinquish your ticket though.

Hmmm, not sure on this one. Looking at the ST T&C’s, on the one hand, it looks like if you default on a payment (such as cancel the DD) they would simply block the ticket giving you access to home games. However, there appears to be a sting in the tail in that it is further covered in Section 13 of the T&C’s (specifically 13.2.18) where defaulting on payment for your ST becomes considered a ‘serious breach’ of the T&C’s. Now, I am no legal expert, but I would think that might mean if /when SR finally see the light and kick RM [Football Genius] out of whatever is left of our club and you decide to come back to the fold you might just find that you are blacklisted for a seriou breach of club rules & regs. As I say that is only my assumption of what might happen but I wouldn’t put it past them! I have not exactly done an exhaustive search for the ST T&C’s so the link below is to the T&C’s from last season. Anyway, might be best to check out the what if’s before you or Saint 22 cancel your DD’s, that said, I do fully understand your utter frustration with the current situation. https://assets.ctfassets.net/qtmbc4zcgkle/oMPC1kcgC9MzdVUijnrOg/629df4b009a2c5fe

Interesting I would like to see them fight a legal challenge of a product being purchased under false pretenses and that what was purchased failed to be fit for purpose and even in a period of reflection corrective measures were not taken thus rendering said product faulty and/or misleading

What will happen is you won’t be able to buy in instalments again. Money up front.

Sadly cos I am minted and Trust The Process, I bought my ticket cash and gave the club an extra few quid to support Rylan’s holiday fund…… [Post edited 27 Nov 11:50]

Not a chance I’m afraid. A contract is a contract. Same as signing up to a phone or utilities company.

If you took S F C to court you would lose and end up paying their costs into the bargain. What we as season ticket holders have purchased is the right to access the stadium on 19 occasions during the season to watch football.Nothing more and nothing less I’m afraid. Legally S F C have no obligation to provide any particular standard of football whatsoever, as has been adequately proven by their efforts so far this season. If you don’t want to attend your only route to recovery of your outlay is to put your ticket on the exchange and hope that someone is daft enough to purchase it. Even then I believe I I’m correct in suggesting that any sums accrued can only be spent on next season’s tickets or in the club shop.
