My grand mother lived in William Street ( next to the club shop) On a match day she would let quite a few through her house and garden and up on to the East terrace. Back to the fixtures incredible that we played away at QPR on the Good Friday then up to Bury to play the next day. Bearing in mind there were no motorways. Back home for a home match on the Monday. Made me laugh at the commentators today talking about squad rotation and fixture congestion over the holiday period. No subs in those days either. Incredible. | |
