Michael Obafemi gets his wish, Burnley get the problem on 13:31 - Jan 26 with 1069 views | ReslovenSwan1 | The question that has to be asked is why have Swansea gone for a loan with an obligation to buy instead of a straight buy? It is an obvious question. So obvious in fact that no one is asking it except that awkward bloke in the log cabin up the Neath Valley. A sort of "do not worry about it it automatically converts". Except it does not. Swansea are not Cardiff city I hope. It makes sense in the last few hours because of a lack of time to complete paperwork. In this case there is a week to go. Is Mr Marsh in Lanzarote next week? I believe Obafemi is a manageable player under the right regime. A not so play full head in an armlock rather than arm around the shoulder approach perhaps by a certain Craig Bellamy. Was Colin Calderwood the man destined to get Oba focused?

Likely done this way to help Burnley with FFP. There is a concern on this one but if contracts are done correctly then there shouldn't be a major issue with it.

Michael Obafemi gets his wish, Burnley get the problem on 13:39 - Jan 26 with 1013 views | heatwave | He's not going to be a problem over the rest of the season. I read it's an obligation to buy. Can that be done? If he's a flop or gets injured why would they commit to buying him at the end of the season?

Michael Obafemi gets his wish, Burnley get the problem on 12:07 - Jan 26 by swan65split | He will probably be a just in case player, if they get any injuries or suspensions etc. cant see him being a regular Perhaps he will throw toys once he realises that. |
His bank balance will cheer him up. Will be able to eat and turn his heating on now. Good riddance.

So effectively Keith. It's not really a loan they've bought him?

It is a loan with a contractual agreement at the end of the loan to buy. Corny has posted this report. https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/swanseacity/news/59436

Maybe not , he doesn't seem to be the type of player who wants to , play
