Russell Martin IN or OUT ? REGISTER to vote on 09:41 - Dec 28 by KeithHaynes
For me in, but now is the time for him to be properly supported. No more cheap deals that may or may not work.
Obviously you have to be registered to vote. My friend 😂

Support him properly, like when he was allowed to bring in Fisher and Sorinola (both were his players).
Quite frankly I'm done, I've been patient, more than most but we aren't progressing at all. Has been the same for 12 months. No width, no pace, no attacking intent.
I've given him some time, but the last few games its beginning to look like he hasn't a clue how to sort it out, and yesterday was it for me, and his comments after the game begin to look like someone who is in a pickle, doesn't know what to do, and blame someone else, as he knows the inevitable is on its way!

No brainer for me. I want Russell Martin to stay. When Piroe returns to form we will be a different team. We are toothless up front at the moment. Our defence needs to toughen up as he says. He is not being backed. Players are being shifted out to balance the books. Sorinola probably is on a low wage by Championship standards.
I'm not sure how anyone can sensibly claim that he hasn't been backed when we've sent nearly £2m MK Dons way alone for two players who can't hold down a place in the team.
There comes a point when you have to stop throwing good money after bad. He hasn't shown that he's remotely capable of getting the best out of the players he already has on a consistent basis. Allowing him to spend even more would be lunacy.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Said early last year that he needed to work out the Pro and Cons of the teams in the Championship, of his players and Squad The Squad was made up of older Premiership players, mid career players on Premiership wages, younger players, and some new promising attacking players. Were his hands tie with the ex premiership players. Obviously with his tactics and restrictions we were short in defence with his reluctance to play too many loan players. Poor signing in Fisher given what we had or needed as backup? This year realising we are short in defence brought new needed defenders and now admits we need Wing/Full backs Seems he doesn't want to use too many loanees which I understand but why has he been so quick to discard our own young players Obgeta, Congreve, Whittaker and Garrick does he think he cannot coach these youngsters? Got some nice talent in a young squad which needs proper coaching to be able to compete at Championship level, one that enables players not restrict them.

Apart from the three impressive wins over Cardiff there have been very few highlights. Maybe he has the next two home games to get some points on the board. He is half way through his three year project and we look like a team that is happy to drift around mid-table.

82% out, it seems like myself a lot have lost patience. I hate advocating for a manger to be sacked, but he's had enough time to get us playing and hasn't achieved anything.

Not looking good as it stands for the manager, the frustration is understandable. Early days tho 😂
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Indeed. I wouldn’t trust RM with 2 grand let alone 2 million+.
With the money he has been given, he’s shown that he can’t bring in suitable players.
It will be interesting on what Winter does next. At the press conference when Martin was announced didn't Winter claim that his role was giving potential names to the owners. So Winter didn't appoint Martin?

Downes is an example of his eye for a player.
That's one out of how many?
