That is certainly how it was before, happy to provide you examples via PM and discuss it if you wish?
The attacks were ignored, the responses were punished (even if milder than the attacks). But if moderation was transparent then these discussions wouldn’t need to happen. You would have clear examples ready to explain when questioned - it shouldn’t be a secret.
It wasn’t just noted by me but by many others too, many with absolutely no “skin in the game”, we can’t all be wrong can we?
You stepped in earlier for the first time when someone was clearly being the aggressor to me, previously that would have been ignored… hence why it’s never happened previously. It was certainly refreshing, take it as a compliment.

No choice in the matter there, he was threatening people. I’m sure he will be the first to admit. Anyone would be banned for that.
But the countless attacks on various posters completely ignored is what I’m talking about, where as when these people reply - it’s made an example of. As in the rules were not applied equally despite the same indiscretions.
But I was being complimentary, I’m saying it’s improved. For the first time in the last 6 months a mod stepped in and actually defended me when clearly someone was being extremely rude, something that was becoming a daily occurrence It’s a positive, not a negative.
But again, if moderation thinks I’m being unfair about the past then again happy to have the conversation privately and provide clear examples of what I’m talking about so we are clear I’m being completely fair. As you know, I’m always honest and don’t shy away from that.
But yes, happy to move on. But these comments clearly designed to goad suggesting the site is going down hill because I am posting are simply getting the response they are designed to get. | |
