Best ever loan signing 13:20 - Jan 26 with 7617 viewsTonto

Hopefully Mr Sanderson will get the opportunity to be added to this list one day - but who are our stand outs? I might (with Clive's permission) turn this into a poll once we have the nominations:

I have great memories of Mark Kennedy back in 98. was gutted he signed permanently for Wimbledon.

Jojo last year has probably claimed nomination too.

thoughts?

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it
Poll: How was the transfer window for you?

Just for this, ahem, 'tackle' on Danny Graham alone...

Unintentional, I think he tripped over his lace.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Agree.

I did love Andros

It speaks volumes for his professionalism that, as a loanee, Andros Townsend was our best player on what was a toxic team.

Andrew Davies, blond central defender from Middlesbrough

Paul Walsh worth a mention. Only with us for a while, but was bombed out of Spurs for punching one of their coaches in the face. Seemed like a good reason to get him in at Rangers. Went on to do good things at Pompey

Glory hunter, me

I don't think we'd have stayed up without Neil Ruddock the year he came.

He'd get us promoted now if we put him in goal

Very strange that one, didn't we sign him on loan and then he didn't play for ages? Once 'arry finally selected him it turned out he was rather good?

For me it has to be Walker, was a joy to behold that season. You just knew he'd make it in the big leagues, and it was great to have him with us even for that relatively short period of time.

Think your thinking of Yun the Korean left back.

Tosic played 2nd half of 2009/10 season. Warnock played him when he came in and might even signed him. It was on loan from Pompey I think. Was a tidy player

I always liked Paul Walsh and was really pleased when we got him on loan, albeit slightly past his best. Was disappointed it didn't become permanent.

For a short while in the summer of 2009 I thought we'd got the best loan in the entire history of football.

Did you buy the T shirt?

Kyle Walker has been our best loan, imo. Head and shoulders better than most players in the championship and a massive reason why we got promoted. Those runs he used to do kind of looked like the Flash was playing. Time just stood still as he ran through.

Occasional providers of half decent House music.

No. By the time the t-shirt came out I already knew he was more naughty boy than saviour.

Tamas Priskin? No wait, I'm joking!

Jay Simpson did a good job for us, scoring 12 in 39 appearances...

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Ishmael Miller deserves a mention for that goal and its importance.

Javier Chevanton looked great during his 7 minutes on the pitch.

Suffering since 1978.

A few that haven't been mentioned yet, all from around the same time when we were in trouble in 2007/8 - Bolder, Cullip, Idiakez.

I also liked Michael Mancienne and was disappointed we couldn't sign him. Jimmy Smith also looked decent and got us a couple of good results - Palace and Norwich spring to mind.

Liked Idiakez

Didn’t we have another foreign midfield playmaker around that sort of time Jordi someone, scored at home I think
