That’s my lot 17:22 - Feb 29 with 8815 views | Andy1300 | After this wednesdays officials display and now the team unable to see out a game, I have finally decided they are not worthy of me working hard all year to earn the extra cash to enable me to buy a season ticket. I’ve been on the fence until this week, was ready to give up on football totally after that clown on Wednesday, today is the straw that finally broke the camels back.

Many teams below us in the pyramid who would love to be in our possession, many are ‘bigger’ clubs than us. I will continue to fork out the money as long as I can see the effort by the players, which I can’t fault today or Wednesday.

Some of us have other things in life to be concerned about, family, jobs etc £450 may not be a lot to some people but I could put it to better use. I also need to spend more time at the weekends caring for a disabled daughter and dealing with a wife with severe depression. (Her dad recently passed away and is not happy in her work environment due to bullying by managers, nothing gets done about it) I really don’t think I could grow up any more than I have already. Thanks for the positive input though, much appreciated [Post edited 29 Feb 2020 17:31]

It’s not about winning games, it’s as much about the way that clown of a manager and the naivety of the players are throwing games away. It’s not good to watch and can’t see it changing.

Andy. You have to have priorities in life, and it sounds like you have yours spot on. Family has to come first ahead of supporting a football team. Anyone that suggest otherwise is a dildo. You can still support the club without being a season ticket holder. All the best with your future.

Try using football as an escape from the real world issues. I’ve been there myself with family struggles and one of the rays of light was the ability to get to Saturday afternoon for a little bit of respite. You don’t need to shell out for the season ticket but please don’t give up altogether; you need an escape. PM me if you want to.

Your choice which should be respected. But I’d leave coming on here and announcing it whilst in a state of anger and disappointment because you’re only going to attract the type of replies you have done.

I was just about to post similar. When things were dark for us a day out at the football was a huge release. The actual game didn’t matter. The change of pace, company and scenery made a huge difference.

This season from an entertainment point of view has been dire, I don't blame some supporters for knocking it on the head. If it wasn't for the kids, I would not have renewed season tickets. I'm getting less tolerant watching crap into middle age. I just hope Cooper gets his P45 at the end of the season.

Great advice. Ease back on the number of games but make the most of those couple of ours once in a while. Just escaping for a bit can help, never mind the result.

You are such a prick Chief, why don't you keep your comments to yourself. I am renewing my ticket or any of my mates until we are rid of gutless blooper and the yanks. Of course will still go to away games.

Ah faaak off pal the OP said he's not renewing due to refereeing decisions and us conceding a last minute goal. Only when probed has brought up his other issues. I can see your point about the yanks going but not renewing because of Cooper is plain silly.

That’s my lot on 18:57 - Feb 29 with 3310 views | icecoldjack | Boring crap football with a boring h crap manager, who gets bailed out now and then with an odd bit of individual skill from one of our players. How he cant get a tune out if players from Chelsea,Liverpool and so e fine young international young pro's with some top quality senior players is a real mystery to most . Unfortunately I cant stop following them, like most on here I've known the rubbish football longer than the good stuff! It's just frustrating knowing it's going to be a return back to that rubbish sooner rather than later .

Oh i dunno, back in the mid/late 80's when i worked for British Rail, i had a free pass and would often go away on my own. I had some great trips getting absolutely slaughtered and would sometimes end up having to book into hotels as i'd fvcked up on train changes as i was in some pub and missed my connection so wouldn't be able to make it back to Swansea the same night!
