Is Boris Johnson a coward? on 11:19 - Dec 6 by TheBeast666
Mirror is a throwback to Arthur Scargill rhetoric, bigging up Corbyn lies in bold each day, Guardian is the Islington Socialist bubble mouthpiece, the voice of champagne socialists with radical ideas but comfortable upper middle class dinner party lifestyles. Both the same in essence, peddling old fashioned irrelevant class war nonsense.BBC is Liebour through and through, no doubt about that !
Once I get to the word Liebour I always stop reading. If someone needs to resort to something as childish as that I'm not interested in their opinions

The poster strikes me as the sort of person who calls Andrew Neil a bully and thinks it's a DISGRACE that Boris Johnson is being bullied -, but calls young people snowflakes when they get upset by being bullied.
Wish I'd chosen a different username...

Andrew Neill is so full of self-importance it's pouring out of his ears. He is a great interviewer, no doubt, but when did he ever get to pick and choose who bows before him and submits to interviews ??
Corbyn was ill-advised to appear. He should have put Diane Abbott up instead, the next Home Secretary. That would have solved all their ills.
The media machine indicated yesterday that Boris will meet Neill for an interview nearer the election date, when it suits Boris, rather than be dictated to, as to when it suits the media.
As for Philip Schofield - well - you'd be better off with Roland Rat.
Pick and choose? He's the PM. WTF man. You are so lost.

BJ is not a coward, almost the opposite really. He is openly saying we do not give a fck about anyone. We will run our game till the end. We will take as many mugs with us, playing their prejudices same as we have, till it's all done.

Bullying is always wrong, the abuse of power to humiliate others for their own perverse gratification. Nothing wrong with robust debate as long at it fair. Snowflakes are upset by the truth and winge if they don't get their own way, nothing at all to do with bullying.

It’s been custom for years that Neill , our toughest interviewer grills party leaders before Election Day. Johnson’s team have been asked for dates repeatedly. He knows he will be ripped apart, so is avoiding. Postal votes have been cast, so not even a chance to sway those voters now.what is a media machine?. Your pro Tory spin is woeful
Pro-Tory... ?? 😂😂 I was relaying what was said yesterday on TV, that Boris is very likely to meet Neill, in the next week. How is that spin ? How is it construed as pro-Tory ?

Where do Labour go if they don't get Corbyn into No.10 this time? Surely they'd have to oust him, although he suggested May should go despite winning a vote of no confidence whilst he stayed after getting comprehensively defeated in one.

Can anyone say/articulate what it actually is we will accomplish by 'getting Brexit done'? What will we have done?
Upheld a democratic decision. I voted leave but would have fully respected the result if remain have won and not demanded a recount because I arrogantly assumed that the people who voted the other way did not know what they were doing ! Comedy if it wasnt so pathetic.

I've more chance of turning up for an interview with Andrew Neill than Johnson. He's still running. They were playing his song on the radio yesterday - Roy Orbison " Running Scared ".

This won't go away. Answer the question. In what way will leaving the EU help the UK?

They will go for a new leader, I assume you mean the last election , hardly a comprehensive beating, it led to where we are today

Not enough time to give a full response FP as am going out but quickly, the EU , in my opinion , has morphed from a trade alliance towards a political federation of European states that benefit big business and financial institutions, particularly in Germany who bankroll other countries but lock them into trade deals thaytonly benefit German companies. Other countries, such as Ireland plunder the EU treasure chest hugely and have grown wealthy on the back of it , however UK is a huge net contributor to theses funds, we only get a fraction back and this is tied to initiatives that are not priority ones nationally, so we would be financially better off and also able to forge free trade agreements around the world. The EU needs us more than we need them , our wages are too high to make us ultra competitive so it benefits other countries more than the UK, add to this the political corruptness of EU institutions and EU law trumping UK law, then to me its a clear cut case to leave. Short term pain for long term gain is my democratic view. I could add much more but thats for another time.

The tit above wants out. Any other Brexiteer in?
So you disagree with him.
That makes him a tit in your eyes?
Let's look at what The Beast said:
- 'morphed from a trade alliance towards a political federation of European states'.
This is factually evident from such nonsense as an EU Army, EU Anthem, EU President etc. Otherwise, the Common Market as it stood would have remained. It's changed. Didn't you see it happening? Maastricht? Lisbon?
- 'benefit big business and financial institutions, particularly in Germany who bankroll other countries but lock them into trade deals that only benefit German companies'.
I think it's difficult to argue that the German economy benefits most from all the EU economies. Whether such deals 'only' benefit Germany is debatable.
- 'Other countries, such as Ireland plunder the EU treasure chest hugely'.
It's an inescapable fact that Ireland was bailed out and UK was a major contributor. Whether 'plunder' is the correct term is very doubtful. The bale-out will have been requested, offered and paid. It does however cast a light on Varadkar's opposition to Brexit, although the acknowledgement of UK's role took some time to be made by him.
- 'UK is a huge net contributor to theses funds, we only get a fraction back'.
This is factually correct. Or, as Benitez many times said - 'fact'. Blair ensured we got less back than before when he signed-away much of the rebate.
- 'this is tied to initiatives that are not priority ones nationally'.
Can't comment.
- 'we would be financially better off and also able to forge free trade agreements around the world'.
That seems to be the aim, because we will not be contributing as much into the EU aside from existing obligations which cannot be dodged. Whether we can forge new deals remains to be seen.
- 'The EU needs us more than we need them'.
Financially yes. Who is the net buyer and who is the net seller?
- 'political corruptness of EU institutions and EU law trumping UK law'
Yes, how are those published EU accounts coming along after all these years?
