Nixon (not that he's a bench mark) did seem to suggest a 'foreign' manager was his best bet for the job, and this person was not in the betting market. None of the managers in the betting market give me hope, they all seem underwhelming if i'm being honest. |  | | |

I agree about taking their time, however , when someone is with another club you identify them, discuss the legal side with the club and get the deal sorted, as Brighton did with Potter.
You don't ' allegedly ' interview them etc and get back to them at a later date. I think Mellon is out of the running. | |
