So how many on this site have renewed their season ticket????

Unless you start and I mean start, hitting the Yanks in their pocket nothing will change

Just because maybe a few will not renew their season ticket, will mean nothing to the Yanks

I have read so much in what fans are going to do and nothing comes of it. It’s becoming a big joke

Look at the crowds for games at the Liberty and you think the Yanks are worried

They are just laughing at you and taking you for suckers

You stop going then you stop supporting the team, we cant let that happen.
Also, if there is no income then the yanks will turn the screw even tighter.

For fans, it is a difficult thing to get owners to walk but we must be persistent and continue to get the message across.

I agree to an extent.
The players and manager are good enough to make the most of what they have got.
Unfortunately the realisation must have kicked in now that Sellouts and Yanks have no interest in what goes on on the pitch.
it is all about self preservation and accruing the filthy luker.

Nothing is going to happen. Nothing. The yanks are in yanklanf not giving a single f^ck. They won't know or care about the result. We are nothing to them. They'll have a think in the summer what they want to do with the asset as part of the wider portfolio, if they havent already decided.

a) Try and Divest (need a buyer for that one), b)Take a punt on promotion, c)Take no EXTRA financial exposure, retain/acquire some modest playing assets within no extra exposure see what happens, d) Write down the asset and sell anything that has a reasonable offer to reduce debt, and then just live within income in whatever division we are in and divest at significant loss when buyer can be found to take on debt.

I'm betting on c) for the next two seasons and d) afterwards

This isn't Petty and amateur hour. Those days are gone. If Jenkins and the others in Swansea take any heat, and I expect him to just stay away soon Yanks won't give a single solitary shit.

Is supporting your team means there could possibly be, there is no professional football club in Swansea

You are not talking pocket money like the club paid to Petty, but possibly £10’s of millions to save Swansea the next time

Don’t tell me it couldn’t happen, as why don’t you think the Trust Director is not allowed to see financially what’s happening at this present time

It’s no good you saying, that I wished I did this or that when the club is gone

The way I see football, is that it’s unsustainable with all the money that’s awash in football these days

The pressure on clubs that they must buy players in the transfer windows by their fans, when their club is already up to their necks in debt already

These Hedge Fund managers are the most unscrupulous people living on earth

All they think of is how to make money and as much money as they can

They will do everything in their power to get back the £60million or whatever the real figure is and they couldn’t care two hoots about Swansea City Football Club

Ask yourself in why they won’t let the Trust Director see the books???

It’s not because they already owe £millions to the tax people is it

As that’s one of the obvious happenings when a business is in trouble

The more I think about that the more it seems normal business practuce. Nobody outside the Board gets to know as the 'fiduciary duty' (or the new wording in CA2006) is to 'the company' not individual shareholders. Therefore I'm not sure why it is so unreasonable (in law I mean, and in normal company practice) to ask for a guarantee of non disclosure by their board supporter director. The Trust Board have no right to any of that in law, or normal practice, as a shareholder do they?

If McDonald thinks they are at it (and he was an accountant, no?) then he would resign to save himself being implicated in anything shady, as he'd never get away with 'I didn't know' as a Board Director.

And yes I have only a very sketchy idea what I'm talking about legally here, but if there tuns out to be anything illegal (I'm sure there isn't), he'd be stuffed. If he didn't resign it would show that he was comfortable, with the strategies if not the figures. He can ignore the non disclosure if there is anything illegal, irregular or has a public interest defence anyway.

I have had a couple of glasses of wine mind you, needed them.

Right, when a business is losing money hand over fist their tax liability’s sky high.
