it’s like this. Club have been confident but even forgetting them, I spoke to someone close to James yesterday who said it will “100% get done” (his words not mine, just so we’re clear). It’s been hanging that way since last week. Question now is whether it’ll actually go through

I've said on numerous previous occasions that SCFC has turned into a football equivalent of a This Is Spinal Tap, The Producers, Brass Eye, Alan Partridge etc surrealistic black comedy parody.
To LOAN Dan James has got to be the most preposterous transfer deal in SCFC's entire history! And you're right the message it sends out to other clubs can only give the impression that insane bottom-book deals are now acceptable. |  |

For what it’s worth I think that the Yanks are reducing debt at all costs now, having decided that we are secure in the Championship for another season. The more cash they collect / debt they reduce the more money they’ll get when they come to sell. The fact that they’ve let a promising young player leave shows that they couldn’t give a flying feck about the playing side. Why should they? They are hedge fund managers.
