The Inverness Lodge Club Brentford Attacked? 22:13 - Dec 8 with 61018 views | jackharris | Anyone know what the F*ck happened there after the match. I heard that group of ‘our so called fans’ on the way back to Brentford Railway Station, tried to attack this Club. The Brentford fans in there are alleging a few of them had knives..! I think the Met Police broke things up really quickly but this could be quite a worrying turn of events? There are of course two sides to every story, so it would be nice if there was someone present who could give the other side of the story?

What I heard it happened later on in the evening? I would have thought that most of our fans would have gone home by then. Unless we had a group who had a few beers near the ground straight after the game in one of the pubs on the four corners of the ground. Or was it some sort of gang?

Totally uncalled for if this has happened, not many games you go to where both teams share pubs like up there, they didn't deserve that treatment.

Yes that is the thing that has worried me. Being associated with knives is a Big NO-NO, of course.

Oh really around 15 of your fans came to the inverness and smashed the windows in and were then involved in a fight with Bees fans who came out 3 swans fans taken to wed midd hospital.F***** idiots which is going to have repercussions for the policy of away fans in all our pubs sadly as I was in 3 pubs before and after and all had swans fans in who were just enjoying the day out no problems at all.

How would Swans fans have knives when everybody was searched going into the ground? Why would away fans be hanging around after the game looking for trouble and indiscriminately attack people in a club, especially as we’d won the game? Can anyone else confirm this actually happened? Our fans were in good spirits after the game and only concerned with making their way home. Before the match the home and away fans were mixing freely. The six or seven buses were parked half a mile from the ground, quite a walk, and others who were leaving had alternative transportation to catch, so surely didn’t have time to hang around looking for trouble If this did really happen, and they were our fans, then I hope they are caught and punished, besmirching the good name of Swansea FC and our well behaved away fans, who have had a good reputation for seven years in the PL.

I was on here last week suggesting pubs I got no axe to grind had a good day mixing with swans fans before the game some were absolutely rat arsed but were not interested in trouble. There was mob who came to the inverness before the game but were moved on without trouble as it’s members only club. This all happened at 630 and I’m sure it will be in local paper tomorrow and will put it up here if it is the police did turn up and escort the uninjured fans back to the station.Have not had the knife claim confirmed though
