Airbus. Worrying news on 20:47 - Jun 22 with 2290 views | BarrySwan | So basically an EU subsidised company which scaremongered during the EU referendum has declared that it might not continue to operate plants in the UK because of an exit from the single market and the ending of free movement of people. This would be the same company which is expanding it's work plants in China despite China not being in the single market and not having free movement of people from the EU. Project fear appears to have moved on to the next stage now....'Project Intimidation' in which EU subsidised Airbus decide Britains immigration and trading policies rather than Britain itself. One would have hoped Perchie and Co might have a little more backbone in the face of Corporate intimidation and bullying. Not a bunch you'd want to be in the trenches with in a tight spot are they? They think they can just turn a blind eye to world trade rules and pay any illegal subsidies I hope Trump takes them all the way and thank god someone is standing up to them. 280 AFLI

Its more to do with the time its taking and the toing and froing were the headlines I thought I saw, lots of underhanded things going on by looks of it the EU clearly doesn't want Britain to leave or they're gonna at least make sure its gonna cost us massively. The government clearly can't handle things and are far to wishy washy in dealing with it.

Airbus. Worrying news on 20:22 - Jun 22 by Dyfnant | Perhaps Airbus should think about making a product that sells |
Approx 9 year backlog on some of the aircraft range isn't a bad sales position! In a product range that make approx 70% of overall sales

That’s because of the continuous balls-ups, can’t deliver what they say when they say. If it wasn’t a virtual monopoly they would’ve gone through 10 years ago

That really isn't the case. Up to rate 60 a month on A320s, that's 2 aircraft per calendar day! This is only one product range. Reviewing up to 70 per month. That's a lot of wings and jobs that are supported. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-02-06/airbus-mulls-raising-output-o

It was a Tory party boil that Cameron thought he could lance. He got away with it - just - with the Scottish referendum but screwed up on Brexit. No wonder the Eton fecker has disappeared.

It was the whole house that voted for both referendums. 500+ MPs from all parties supported it. The majority of the political spectrum was right behind it until they saw the result.

Yes,that's so true. Let's be honest if Labour won last year and were in power and had to enforce BREXIT which Corbyn has been for for the last 30 years but now siting on the fence all their MPs would be voting against all these amendments. 279 AFLI

Airbus. Worrying news on 17:29 - Jun 23 with 1858 views | Wingstandwood | It would IMO been preferable if the U.K had stayed in a commerce/business facilitating and friendly common market. The problem was unsustainable levels of immigration. There was an expert (not UKIP or political!) that appeared on ITN News around the time of the Brexit and said at the rate (backed up by figures) the unchecked open border floodgate policy was continuing the U.K population would be increased by TEN MILLION at a future date. That is unsustainable! Now bearing in mind workers pay and conditions have suffered terribly (seen it myself) because of cheap East European labour and the way undermanned public services are struggling? There would have an absolute nightmare scenario on the cards i.e. getting a once guaranteed doctors appointment for many has (triage system) gone along with stuff like (forced to pay private myself) an NHS dentist etc, etc, etc . If it's hard now what would it like when the country is grossly overpopulated? So the gist is the U.K would have been damned if it had continued with EU lunacy and its sad that the real matter of peoples concern i.e. wanting sensible controlled immigration figures was never addressed.

Migrants actually had preferential treatment for orthodontics. Migrant adults were entitled to free works and most of these that a relative treated received little to no dental work previously. Things like that though are a failing of pen pushers in our civil service, it’s hunan nature to make the best of what’s available.
