Some of our owners on 21:40 - Dec 17 by londonlisa2001 | As I said, it's largely a list of fund managers, who probably front a whole list of people that have invested in their fund... It's turtles all the way down. |
Understood, but being one of many investors in a fund that owns maybe 1% of the Swans and then portraying yourself an "owner" is pretty misleading. Like calling myself an owner for sending £10 to the Supporters Trust.

You have to say that, from a purely aesthetic perspective, it's a fabulous set of names. Only Matt Walsh and big Jim Ford letting the side down.

To me it reads like a magicdaps10/Nirvana transfer wish list.

Arf! 'We should be looking at Andris Upitis, banging them in off the wing for Hapoel Tel Aviv.' 'Dai Ott has refused to sign a contract at Connaugh's Quay. Could be a prospect for the U23s?' Etc. [Post edited 18 Dec 2017 16:07]

Some of our owners on 19:13 - Dec 18 with 2141 views | AguycalledJack | Are any of these people on twitter? If so a few tweets questioning their involvement would be interesting? People like Donovan and the lass off the office will not want bad publicity on their account. A couple of 100 tweets asking some awkward questions would make a few of them sweat.

I probably am very far from the truth here but... If for instance Kaplan and Levien buy the stadium for £300,000 a year and that money is taken as their directors/whatever fees from the club itself. Then the stadium value is about £30 million ( it cost £27 million to build and the council are selling it to the Yanks for about £8million) So the stadium value coincidentally is close to the amount required for Kaplan and Leviens 30% stake in the club. In other words are the ratepayers of Swansea taking the hit on the Stadium loss and in an obscure way that loss is actually financing the Yanks ability to p*** all over us.
Some of our owners on 09:20 - Dec 19 with 1941 views | Frank_Lazarus | Have done a bit of research on the shareholders and unearthed the following: Robert Hernreich featured in the music video for The Connells’ sole UK hit, ’74-’75. Chip Rosenbloom was one of the aliases Chevy Chase wanted to use in film sequel Fletch Lives! Rosenbloom got wind of it and objected. The script was changed to call the character Crisp Risenshine. It didn’t make the final edit. Curtis Lane gives his name to a skate park in Connecticut. David Ott was the first man in Wyoming to try kettle chips. According to his High School Yearbook, Cliff Singer’s nickname was ‘Dame Vera’.
