As mentioned before, this guy is one of few names mentioned that I am familiar with and he is quality. If we pull this this off then it is a major sign of where we are in terms of club size.

If we do sign this guy, we are in business - good player and a level or two above anything we have curently - included Jeff. The thought of Jeff on the left and Ayew on the right - yes please!
The calibre of signing which suggests we mean business. Keep them coming Monks!
Depends what formation we use really. If we play the new formation then Ayew would probably play in routledges position just behind the striker. With Montero and Routledge on the left and dyer and barrow on the right.

what about siggy?
it will most likely be a 4-2-3-1 FAB Tayls/Tabs, Williams,Fernandez, Naughton/Rangel Cork, Ki/Shelvey Ayew/Montero, Siggy/Maxim/Shelvey, Dyer/Routs Gomis/another

You are missing a player I think. You only have 10.
I was under the impression that the new formation kind of looked like this
Less wingers to use or replace Shelvey with a winger. But I thought we mainly used central midfielders in the new formation and then routledges role was almost like a roaming player just behind Gomis but also can go to the wing.

Yes, that is the new formation.
Gomis was struggling as a lone front man, so we packed the midfield, sacrificed the wingers and put Routledge in behind him to act as a second striker but also drift to the wing when necessary. It worked a treat to be fair. Gomis looks much sharper and Shelvey has more licence which suits him down to the ground. Would be even better with Ayew.
I trust he has already been introduced to rissole and chips at Rossi's?
Bouillabaisse? Pah!
He is upmarket so will be going to Bouchon de Rossi, the French Restaurant. Him and Gomis don't like rissoles.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
rumours on the net say we have offered him 95k a week, surely that cannot be right
Rumours that Gomis is on not far off that.
Given that we're saving on a transfer fee it wouldn't surprise me if Ayew is on the same. Be interesting to know if that's a straight wage with no lump sums or £95k p/w is just what the total package is worth.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
All I can say about this is I hope very strongly that it comes off. I don't know how he'd do for us, but on paper, it would be a marquee signing to rival Gomis and Gylfi last summer. I've only seen him play in last year's World Cup, but he looked pretty good.
It will presumably have a major effect on our wage bill, but can't imagine the club would move forward with it unless they were happy with the numbers.
In one signing, we'd address the backup striker position (meaning the other striker I feel we need can be a promising youngster rather than paying out for a proven player) and our need for another wide player. Ayew, Montero, Routledge, Dyer, Barrow (Emnes in a crisis, plus Gorre continuing to develop) seems like good depth to me.
You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants don't help.

Not complimentary to say the least:

Ha ha, it looks like its from one of those Miles Kington 'Franglais' books. No translation required, I think.
