Despite the financial loss on him, I suspect that was a tipping point for TF.
The recent tweets about more responsibility for Sir Les with HR under pressure seemed to go against the assurances he was giving HR. If I was TF I'd be pished orf he sent a wedge on Fer, Mutch, a crocked Sandro and Rio. £25 mil and he still couldn't make it work? TF' learning and was right to ut the cheque book away. I've got few doubts HR was told to resign or be sacked.
As for Mutch, we'll never know, never in the right position, never really got a chance to shine. Crazy to buy and sell at a loss in the same season. Good riddance to the wheeler dealer.
