Alcohol free 'booze' on 18:43 - Dec 7 with 2621 views | C_jack | Well if you're stuck in the desert and theres nothing else to drink, I guess its ok. I can't think of any other scenario in which you'd choose it to give to your children though?

Alcohol free 'booze' on 18:45 - Dec 7 with 2621 views | ItchySphincter | There's plenty of other things they could drink. Not sure there's anything wrong with it but kids don't usually like alcohol as the bitter taste is usually acquired as a grown up. I probably wouldn't bother.

Should've read 10 & 12. Missus bought a load of Kopperburg pear on offer from Tesco without realising it was 0% alcohol

as much as anything, honestly that stuff is absolutely stuffed with sugar and that should be avoided for children even at 10 or so other than as the odd treat. Also - as has been pointed out - there often is alcohol in the drinks - it's all to do with labelling legislation (eg. fat free actually means less than 0.5% fat in a similar way). Giving them that to drink is like a Coke - OK on the odd occasion but wouldn't recommend it in any sort of frequency at all - it really isn't great to spike sugars for a child (or an adult for that matter, but that's their choice). Don't forget that you could just take it back and exchange it.

Alcohol free 'booze' on 20:18 - Dec 7 with 2519 views | exiledclaseboy | It's illegal to give alcohol to kids under the age of five. After that, presumably, they can get lashed up to f*ck entirely legally.

Alcohol free 'booze' on 16:53 - Dec 8 with 2385 views | union_jack | You used to be able to buy shandy in cans at any age so not much difference. Personally, I've allowed my daughter the did sip of wine since she's been about 11. I take the stance that the forbidden fruit is always sweetest so take away the mysticism and hopefully it won't be such a draw at 18. She's home from rehab on Friday!
